"# Generator Repair Nightmare Had issues with my Generac 32KW (installed March 2023). In January 2025, it wouldn't start. Feb 4: Submitted service request Feb 11: Mike came but couldn't fix it Feb 26: Replaced part - didn't work Mar 14: Replaced another part - still broken Apr 2: Replaced wiring harness - no success Major problems with this company: - Poor communication (weeks of silence) - Multiple failed repair attempts - Technician eventually said "I CANNOT FIX IT" and told me to call Generac myself - Never sent promised documentation of work done During a March storm, I spent $1000 at Harbor Freight on a temporary generator. As a business owner, I'm appalled that a certified Generac contractor would give up and shift responsibility to the customer. After two months of "service," my generator still doesn't work. "I hired Solis home remodelling to remove the counter top over the washing machine and to install the box cover. While removing the counter top, there was significant damage done to the dry wall. I did not expet the damage to dry wall and it was not mentioned by the handyman before starting the project about the possible damage to the dry wall. Otherwise I would have thought about alternate options to save from the damage. He did not seem to be concerned about the damage at all. Then he said he would fix it for another $350. I heard banging noise while removing the counter top. He could have been more gentle and thoughtful about this project. I have no confidence in hiring him again to fix the dyr wall, because the bottomline is, eventhough he was very polite and professional (in communicating) he does not seem to know what he is doing."
