"Mr Seeley, L&S Appliance Repair, was teriffic!!! He called me shortly after I filled out the Angi’s online request form. We discussed the problem with the refrigerator, he asked several pertinent questions about the issue and told me what he thought most likely had occurred! He arrived on time, worked very efficiently identifying the problem and told me as he worked what he was finding and what he was doing and to alleviate the problem. He gave me some advice on how to best maintain the fridge in the future—- and because of it’s age he advised me to not invest in any future repairs, simply look at purchasing a new fridge. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
