They proceeded then to reconnect the new clay pipe to a new 4” cast iron pipe and so on. They then backfilled the opening on the ground once the repair had been completed. "It was 10am during the week between Christmas and New Years day. My main water valve inside the house was stuck in the off position so I had no water for toilets, sinks.... Chris from the company made it out to my house in advance of the Noon appointment and worked with the village (the village has to turn on\off the water from outside to my house) to get the repair completed within 2.5 hours, which was amazing.
