"One of the best....great service and wonderful people to work with...not only did I get a new Hayward variable speed pump, but they corrected some plumbing at no extra charge. I worked with Ken, the owner and he was very professional and helpful. I would recommend this company to everyone."

"We called the company in the summer of 2016, because our well water was softened, and we noticed allot of salt build up around our plumbing fixtures. We also felt uncomfortable drinking the water ourselves and also were concerned about watering our pets and plants with the softened water.  Also, we hated the feel of the water, especially when showering.
When the sales rep. , Rick came out, he explained our options, and we chose to go with an under the sink unit that we could use for  drinking water.  He never tried to up sell us, but did leave us the brochure on the whole house unit. We are remodeling the house with new appliances and fixtures, and noticed that within just a couple of months of use, the new faucets already had salt build up on them.
We discussed the whole house reverse osmosis option, and called Rick again.  He came out that day, and again, tested our water, and discovered that there was allot of salt present.  He explained the different systems, and again, did not try to up sell us to the biggest, most expensive system they had.  He really wanted us to make our own decision, and we up sold ourselves and went with a bigger storage tank, 500 gallons.
We liked Rick so much.  He was friendly, professional and extremely nice to work with, answering all of our questions, and really taking his time to make sure we understood the product we were buying.
The first unit we purchased in the summer of 2016 cost $2499.00, and the company gave us a complete credit towards the new system.  That was awesome.
Their installer was also extremely professional.  He came out within a couple of days, did the installation, and completely cleaned up the kitchen area under the sink when he was finished.  Before he left, he answered our questions and made sure we knew how long to wait before drawing our new, improved water.
A few weeks after install, the unit stopped making water.  I called the company, and they immediately sent out a service man, who discovered that a circuit breaker had popped.  He fixed it and we were not out of water more than a couple of hours.
I highly recommend you contact this company if you have issues with your water, or you are on a well like we are, and want the best quality of water possible.  My husband and I are senior citizens, and, over the years have hired many companies for various installs.  I would say that without a doubt, Kinetico tops the list of the BEST service we have ever had.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Goodland, FL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
