"Needed ice maker repaired. It's not making or dropping ice. Needed Electric Dryer drum to stop continues turning when not in use. Ice maker: Not repaired. Instead: He replaced the thermostat, and door handles were semi-fixed, tightened. Electric Dryer: Face plate (settings) was pushed in. He popped that out. He also cleaned out the wall vent from decades of trapped lint. However, the dryer drum keeps turning after the timer goes off. When it's turning, it's not getting hot. Only way to stop it from turning and make it stop, is leaving the Dryer door open. If not, the drum continues to turn, for days if we leave the door closed. There's also when we're drying clothes, it doesn't heat up so the clothes stay wet for hours leaving us to have to rewash clothes and hang up to dry. The initial call for the repairs were not repaired. Ice maker doesn't make ice Dryer drum continues to spin I reached out to him two days later after the repairs he made, letting him know that the reason for the initial call to repair the ice maker and Dryer, were still not working. I received no response from him. It's been over a week now. He has not responded. Sabino started his job with us, with excellent customer service. I called about the repair and he came out the same day (even after being in a rollover car accident with his young son). He did the minor repair. He ordered 'special' parts for the refrigerator. A week later. He fixed what he thought needed fixing. Except for the real reason I requested his Experienced Appliance Repair Services. The ice maker and the Dryer. Paid: $300 cash. $325 on our debit card. We still have broken Appliances. I had to take my business elsewhere, and spend more money on the same Appliances. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I wish him well."

He had the heating element on hand to replace the broken one. The repair cost is a fixed expense established by either Manny's or the industry. My cost was $324. Maytag replacement parts sells the heating element for $145 and the service call was $65. I asked Arthur if there was room for negotiating the fee, he related that he was obligated to follow the code book. Although it was more than I anticipated to pay, Arthur made the repair in one hour. It was impressive to watch him work with efficiency and alacrity. I appreciated Manny's helping me."

He quoted me a price that was above average for what others paid, according to HomeAdvisor, but I figured out the reason why. Anthony wasn't just quoting me a cheap price to get my service. He was honest about the fact that when he ran his diagnostic test, it was common for more than one part to need replacing. He also shared that a lot of people decide they want to replace a part that may not be necessary broken at that moment but that would need to be replaced down the road. Instead of having to call for service again, they choose to replace the part at that time. It was clear that Anthony is really about serving his customers well, and treats each person as if they were a member of his own family.
