"Just had our kitchen remodel completed by them and couldn’t be happier! Job was done in the estimated timeframe and on budget. Stan was great to work with. He made great recommendations when we were unsure or stuck on something, and kept us well informed on timing and any issues that came up every step of the way. He and everyone he brought in were very professional and worked hard to get the job done. We are already planning to have more work done by them in the near future. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful fence, quick build, and the price matched the quote. Micah was professional and courteous throughout, and quickly came back to fix a small issue that was forgotten. The only issue was a small financial one- my deposit wasn't deducted from the total and I didn't catch it until after he had left with the check. It took a few weeks to get that money back, but again, Micah always responded and made sure it got back to me. Definitely going to hire again."

"Overall Jay is excellent. He is responsive, always answers texts or phone calls quickly and generally does what he says he will do. Like all construction projects there were small issues along the way but Jay got on top of them and addressed them quickly. Site was clean during construction work, his subs/trades were all good, nice people, skilled workers who did excellent quality work. Overall this was done well and in an acceptable timeframe. I think generally construction could have been executed quicker, there were a few times when no-one was working at the house that could have shaved some time. But, given my extensive experience with construction Jay is one of the good ones ! His estimate was high but he came in well under it and within sight of what I expected things to cost. I will (I am) definately using him again..."

"I had my clients hire Sewell Built LLC for a porch, stairs and railing off their 2nd story back rear door. It was required by the appraiser on their home loan they were completing. The work by Sewell Built LLC was completed fast and to a high quality and standard. The clients were happy about the work and they were able to complete their home loan because of it."

"Eugene was very prompt with contacting us to look over the job and give a quote. The job was done beautifully by his two floor refinishers and they took a total of four days from start to finish. Eugene recommended the correct finish for the oak floors which complimented the oak hardwood steps that were not refinished. Val and Michael were polite and very neat and tidy with their work and they were able to move my furniture which was a necessary requirement for us. Very pleasant crew and again a beautiful job."

"The job went very well. Mark showed up early every day. He has a lot of good ideas and is very meticulous with a great eye for detail. He also found places to save us money along the way.
We hope to have more work done next year and we will definitely be calling Mark for that.  "

"He was great about coming back in the rain to fix the skylight like he
promised, and went out of his way to be helpful and do some small things for me. He was clearly eager to prove himself.
I understood his business to be a new solo venture, and he was clearly eager to make himself the dependable contractor he aspires to be.
My only real faults are the delicate and difficult matter of interpersonal skills.  I just did not quite click in a way that made me want to use his services again, though there was no fault with the services themselves.
Someone else may be more comfortable.

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Government-camp, OR

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
