"The initial work was done in a day and it seemed to have gone smoothly, but then after a month the garage door seemed to not work properly. The garage door would hesitate when initially lifting up and the motor was not as quiet. I had them come out a couple of times to double check everything and they said everything was fine. After 6 months it just got worse and worse. I finally called another garage door company and they said that the motor was possibly defective. I called Altas again to have them determine if the motor was defective, but they never returned my calls or came our again. I had the second garage door company come out to look at it and they determined that the motor was not defective, but that it was installed incorrectly."

"This guy really knows what he's doing! I have seldom seen anyone who knows his job as well as Michael knows his. I watched him fix my garage door after the original repairman did more to damage it than to fix it. Michael went through every calibration (level, track alignment, re-tensioning the torsion bars, etc. etc.) and he repaired it quickly, methodically and, most importantly, accurately. I've owned this house for 12 years and my garage door has never worked this quietly or this smoothly before! If you are having a problem with your garage door, call this guy. I got lucky -- I picked his name out of an old phone book (how old-fashioned is that?) on the basis that he was the only one who gave his full name and address. I figured he obviously wasn't trying to hide from anyone. I'm glad I called him. It was one of the best experiences I've EVER had hiring someone who wasn't referred to me.
