"Flooring in kitchen and dining room looks good except they cut around flooring strips on all 4 - 2 exterior & 2 interior doors. The areas around flooring strip's look unprofessional and unfinished. These areas are already coming up. I had to buy wider door strips to cover hacked up floor areas. 
My biggest complaint is my new fridge lost it's grill at the bottom and no one bothered to replace it. Not the company or the contractors. 
Yes,  the work there is sub- contracted. I do not like sub-contracted work because each party blames the other and problem is never solved.
They group that  installed flooring were loud and unprofessional. I would not recommend flooring install. I am disappointed in the lack response from American Flooring, Cabinets & Granite. We called and the company was going to have sub-contractors to contact me for repair & replacement of fridge grill.
 I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM EITHER!

Sam and Dan have been an absolute godsend ! I contacted them because we discovered water damage in a closet and on the ceiling in a bedroom. We had received another estimate for the roof but Sam and Dan got down on their hands and knees and discovered water damage and wood rot not only in the front eaves but in the back eaves as well. Their attention to detail was impressive, both have backgrounds as insurance adjusters. They gave us fair, accurate and complete estimates. Yes, you can get a cheaper estimate but you won't get a more quality job completed . They use only the best materials and don't skip steps. "The knockdown resurface job looks beautiful but the job took longer than expected and promised. Got contract just before work was completed so some work I had asked for wasn't done but by the time I got the contract, it was too late.
 
We started off badly because I was there for our appointment but the owner forgot about it although he did come later.  He apologized and said he was busy.  I chose Homecolor because of the reviews I read on Angie's List and because he was able to work on Sundays.

"IPE planking is a Brazilian hardwood of exceptional strength. Like all natural woods it is delivered warped and curved, but because it is very strong it is hard to install. Randy and Jessie worked 4 days doing meticulous work. The deck came out looking great and I would recommend them on any deck project.
