"In the first place, we had a quote from a home improvement store . One person came out & measured. Another person who never saw the kitchen designed the new layout. Kitchen Designs came out and because they saw the kitchen & measured the kitchen they were able to make some suggestions that wound up saving us a lot of $. One of the suggestions was the type of countertop we eventually chose so that was more a matter of taste. <br /> The start time had to be adjusted because of their schedule but with our schedule being so busy at the time, that wasn't a problem for us. They had initially told us they would start and stay until the job was done and it would take about 10 days. True to their word they started and worked until they finished & it took 10 days. <br /> Our kitchen is a little unusual in that one corner houses a booth with bench seating but 45'd across that corner and continues around that angle on each side. On each side of the booth is a doorway to the diniing room and to the living room. On the opposite corner there is a doorway to the laundry room & downstairs.The cabinets coming up to that corner on each side had to be angled at certain degrees. Came out perfect. in fact, with one of the old angled cabinets the angled section was wasted space. They custom designed a small cabinet for that area which is a nice touch.  <br /> The island is a replacement for a kitchen table  with bullet ends to match the angled booth so it's rather unique. The island top was fine but the cabinet had to be taken back to the shop and reworked but turned out great and has two large drawers in it for storage. They even suggested and made a custom wooden valance above the sink that matched the arch designed into the cabinet doors. <br /> The cabinet wood & finish are beautiful, the finished detailing adds a classy touch and we are very pleased with the results. The best part was working with Tony (father) and Gabe (son). They were very professional but at the same time fun to be around and worked well with us for our specific needs. We have and will continue to recommend them to our friends and family. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"These folks did an amazing job. The project began from initial design work, drawings in 3D of the intended details, revisions to the final choice. Scott and team are extremely detail oriented, down to the 1/32and quot; of the inch. Other venders we spoke with about this same project were using standard stock cabinetry with industry standard 3and quot; too 5and quot; fillers. The other venders would have supplied cabinets which incorporate 1/2and quot; thick particle board carcasses, Which is customary. not Scott they built every part using 3/4and quot; solid lumber core hardware plywood's! All the doors and drawers were built of sold hardwoods which were dovetailed with the finest quality hardware I have ever viewed! There attention to every last detail is astonishing! These words only do credit to the quality of the constructed cabinets, now lets talk a bit about the impeccable quality and the fit and finish of the total project. My wife and I have owned and improved a total of nine homes in the past 30 years in four states. So we can tell you with absolute certainty having been through many improvement projects in our time what makes a great contractor. Attention to the details, total quality execution, a team who is not only polite, caring, concerned and interested about you the customer , but I recognize they are more concerned about every last detail even more so then myself. That is what I know makes an amazing job. The kitchen and bath cabinets we had painted white, with complementary black and mica granite tops , stainless steel appliances, white and black veined marble backsplash along with complementary matching marble tiles for the shower along with glass doors. We are so happy words cant describe. We are looking forward to our next project with Scott and team! <br />"

"Randy and team at R. Quinn Construction did a fantastic job and far exceeded our expectations. We have utilized many contractors in the past for other projects and I can honestly say that we have never experienced anything quite like the service level we received. They responded to our initial request for service within 24 hours and quickly provided a quote that was considerably less than the "IKEA" suggested contractor (which also just happened to be located in Chicago - some 300 miles away!). Randy gave us an installation date 2 weeks out, again besting the other contractors considered. We did have some concerns that the "cost may be too low" but after looking at their web site and Facebook page, those concerns quickly disappeared. <br /> <br /> They arrived on time as promised and immediately went to work, taking only a short lunch break and working late into the evening. They exhibited extreme care and handling of the cabinets and installed them as we had planned. I was amazed at the care taken to level the cabinets (often multiple times) both side-to-side and front-to-back. This was repeated each time another cabinet was "added" and continued through completion. Our design required some "customization" of several cabinet which they performed flawlessly. At the end of the first day, well over 60% of the cabinets were installed. Then something really unusual happened. They cleaned up and vacuumed the entire space before they left for the day. The second day was a repeat of the first. Arrived early, stayed late to finish and cleaned up like they had never been there. I also have to say that we did some "on-the-fly" changes, which they happily accommodated and, to my pleasant surprise, did not change the total cost. Nothing seemed to be "a problem", which was greatly appreciated. The total project was completed in 2 days (again less than half the time quoted by other contractors). <br /> <br /> Overall, as I said above, R. Quinn Construction far exceed our expectations and we would highly recommend them to do any remodeling type project. They had all the right tools, knew what they were doing, were very professional and very easy to work with. We are 150% satisfied with the work that was done. They will be our first call the next time a remodeling need arises.*"
