"Heat exchanger from outdoor wood burner needed repair, but this was mid-winter in Michigan., and this was pretty much our only real means of heating our large farmhouse. I was worried. Contacted TJ day 1, his crew was out day 2 to assess, take measurements and discuss options. They needed to locate a new heat exchanger, which they did. Returned on day 3 - started, completed, and tested repairs in less time than I expected. Our house never got cold, which was my concern. They also did a couple upgrades and needed cleanings. Best of all, in spite of potential for a real messy job, they left the house very clean. Knowledgeable, respectful, hard working, good communication start to finish. Got bill next day and it was quite reasonable for the work done. Thanks TJ, Hunter, and Justin! VERY pleased and would highly recommend."

"Tom was helpful and polite as usual. He re-lit my water heater. Thank you, Tom. Also, thanks for wearing a mask!"

"We met with Cody for a quote this afternoon and we were really impressed with his knowledge and explaining what needs to be done for our project. He had good suggestions and checked out all the plumbing that would be included in the project. We appreciated the communication as to his arrival time!"

"Very reliable on the sales appointment side and knowledgeable on the product and installation procedures."

"Our company had a catastrophic plumbing failure after hours last week. I had 6 hours to correct the problem before my 3rd shift team arrived. I called around to many local plumbing shops who were staffed by the same answering/dispatch system, of which, the "had no one in the area that could help tonight". I came across CL. Colin picked up as soon as I called, and was on the road to our plant in minutes. Flooding situation was rectified, clean up executed, and 3rd shift was back on track (with an hour to spare). Well done Colin, well done CL. I would highly recommend this shop for any of your plumbing needs!"

"Brian was punctual, efficient, and thorough. He completed the task within the time frame he had provided, and did not leave so much as a footprint for me to clean up. He was respectful, pleasant, and totally unobtrusive. I would recommend Brian and Specialized Plumbing Services to anyone requiring plumbing services."

"The team did a great/wonderful job installing my new water heater!"

"Excellent service, to say the least!  I ordered a 20kW Generac generator from a nationwide distributor and had it shipped directly to my location.  I poured the concrete pad myself, and bolted the generator down.  While somewhat proficient with electrical wiring, I did not trust that I could do this job without issue.  I contacted VanderHyde (they were listed as the primary West Michigan Generac Dealer) and asked if they could do the wiring for me.  Ryan Hyde came out for the quote and spent nearly two hours at my house talking about the transfer switch.  Generac provided a 200 amp switch, but my house was wired for 150.  We agreed that I would give them my 200 amp automatic transfer switch, and they would order a 150 amp switch as a replacement......and I would cover the split cost.....essentially adding $360 on to my bill.  I was fine with that.  Jason did the install on 11-16-2012 and spent 8.5 hours outside.  One trip to Lowes/Home Depot was needed for additional parts to tie into the existing power meter.  A great guy - I asked numerous questions and he explained what he was doing as he worked.  Once done, he came inside and asked if I wanted to be present for the "firing up" up the generator.  Overall the price was a bit high, but I also understand that I did not purchase the generator from them.  I was able to get the generator new for a little over $5000 online, which resulted in a large overall cost savings....so I expected to pay a bit more for the work I did not feel confident in doing myself.  I felt they did an amazing job and I would gladly call them again as needed for additional electrical work.  One a side note, I lost my original installation paperwork in a basement flood two years ago.  I called the company and had a copy of all paperwork in my email inbox in less than five minutes.  NICE!  Please note:  This review will be listed under "water softeners" and I cannot find a way to change it!

"We needed a new hot water heater along with installing three new sinks after our new counter top we’re installed. I was able to get all of the work completed on the days I needed them. They were very knowledgable and friendly. Everything works great and they cleaned up nicely. I recommend calling Pipe Monster Plumbing. Susan Staal"

"He was able to quickly diagnose that the water leak from the water heater was a result of a ruptured tank, resulting in the need to replace the entire water heater."
