"This project was in excellent hands from the very start. Robert Robison offered several ideas during the initial estimate meeting, and followed up with specifics that fit my needs perfectly. Work began soon thereafter. Both Robert and Scott were completely dependable, kept us informed on progress and completed the job with no problems or drawbacks. They proved to be very adaptable as various unexpected snags arose. And in the end, they even reattached my "invisible fence" wire. Topnotch work and service all around!"

"I can highly recommend J Plus Construction after the excellent work they did in transforming my wildly overgrown grass into a beautifully trimmed lawn surrounding my house. Two men worked tirelessly for approximately two hours and did everything I needed to be done with care and attention to my requests. I highly recommend this company."

"The team was GREAT. I got an immediate response on my inquiry, and Justin came out to give me a quote within a week. The actual installation was quick (two days) and the fence looks beautiful. Justin was a fantastic communicator and explained all my options on the fence build and when little issues arose, he gave clear explanations and ideas for solutions. Overall, I had a great experience and my fence turned out exactly how I'd imagined it."

". . . two years after his installation of wrought-iron bannisters in front of my home, I began to notice places where the protective enamel coating the iron was flaking off, allowing the iron beneath to rust.  I called Mr. Volkan and he agreed that this was covered by his warranty, though he said that it was a third-party provider whose enamelling work was defective.  He said he would take action on this. That was nearly a year ago.  I never heard from him again.

"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

"This professional company was about the best I have worked with...I drug my heels about letting them know when to start, etc. They did a marvelous job and kept me informed of the project's progress, etc. Everything was cleaned up and my electric gate opener is working perfectly (I had a pretty difficult area they had to work with). Any future fencing needs from my friends, will go to NPR Fencing... Great professional company. Janet Dunlap"

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Granite Falls, WA

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
