"JNP Construction and Rick Bradshaw are my go to contractors for all our projects. This has included a fully remodeled master bath, Guest bath and kitchen. He handles each project challenge with his customary extreme knowledge and coordination with all subs and the county. Every new construction related problem, Rick is my first call."

"I hired Valley Home Improvement to remodel my kitchen. Mike and his crew were extremely professional, prompt, and hard working. My entire kitchen was basically redone in less than one month. I was dreading the dust, noise, and inconvenience, but they make it a priority to minimize any inconvenience. They sealed off their work area from the rest of my house and cleaned up after themselves each day. Mike made sure that each of the sub contractors were here when they needed to be. This really made everything come together beautifully. Almost one year later, I still love my kitchen and marvel at their work. <br />"

"Verity Construction LLC really came through for us in more ways than we expected at a time when we needed to heal and rebuild our home and life after a wildfire. We put our trust in them and it paid off. Tim Plankenhorn and his staff at Verity made us a quality custom built home and it was done right and fast. A special thank you to Josh Moffitt and Dusty as well for all of your help and outstanding customer service. We would definitely recommend this builder to anyone looking for a reputable company to hire. We couldn't be happier with Verity or our home. Thank you Verity. Tim and Denise"

"Robert Pendrey and his team appeared on time, then thoroughly prepped the old surface. After removing the window screens, John even washed all the windows. He power washed our chimney and, for a nominal fee, even our sidewalks and patio! He and his team painted our home beautifully (two coats) and left everything spic and span. What a treat. His fee was $6,200 and we could not be more pleased with the job. Thanks, Robert."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Grants Pass, OR

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
