"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. "I had awnings installed two different occasions. <br /> They were both done beautifully. One was over a small window is is a half circle, dark green awning. <br /> The second job was a difficult one installed above a small wrought iron balcony. <br /> Both of these jobs were exactly what I wanted and are still in beautiful shape. <br /> I do not have a house which takes any siding, but IF I ever do need siding or windows, I would  <br /> call them and make sure they did the job.    <br /> They are an excellent resource for our Community. <br /> Kathy"

"Called Arteman's on a rainy day in November, he happened to be available so he came right over.  The other company had left our house with no front entry door, because they just replace doors.  Arteman was a hero that day!  He replaced the rotten beam under the threshold.  He also noted that the tiled entry way was incorrectly installed (previous owner's DIYproject) and he removed the tile as it was sitting on water damaged particle board and interfering with the repair of the threshold. <br /> The company we bought our door from finished installing the door. <br /> We called Arteman's again, because there was a gap between where the door had been installed and where the stoop steps were, leaving his repair exposed.  He came over, within a day or two and filled the gap with a some type of sealer.  The area is not leaking and with this crazy winter we're so grateful for his good work. <br />   I do have a minor gripe though, we wanted him to install new tile for us since our landing now was just plywood since he had taken up the old tile.   I went to the store he recommended to get tile, but none of the tile there appealed to me.  I purchased tile at Lowes.  When he saw the tile, he told us that he wouldn't be able to put it in for another three months.  That seemed like a dodge to me. If he didn't want to put it in, I would have appreciated just a simple "no."  But to be fair he had fit us into his schedule in an emergency and I'm grateful.  Anyhow, I couldn't wait, because to paraphrase the Stark's, "Winter was Coming."  I put it in myself, apparently our landing is homeowner DIY territory.  <br /> All in all Arteman's was great to work with.  Showed up when he said he would.  Completed the job in a quick period of time.  Charged appropriately. <br />"

"The service I received from Promax Construction was absolutely FANTASTIC! I had a rotted fascia board on the south side of the house that was in dire need of repair and Promax was the only company that I could find in Decatur who were actually willing to come out and get the job done. After calling to set up an appointment, John showed up exactly when scheduled, gave me an estimate and I agreed to it on the spot. His price was fair, so I signed the contract and he said he'd send out his guys as soon as he could. The Promax crew showed up roughly two weeks later and immediately got to work. The first crew of guys (sorry I didn't catch their names or I'd credit them here) pulled down the old board and cut and installed the new piece perfectly. It was exactly what I wanted. After that, John had Shane come out to do some finishing work on the roof and chimney and now everything looks fantastic! I am extremely GRATEFUL to Promax Construction for doing this job for me when nobody else would and the next time I need more work done on the house, I will definitely be calling Promax Construction FIRST. Thanks again to John, Shane and everyone else who helped with this project. I truly appreciate it!"

"We really enjoy our new toolshed. This is not just any old shed in your backyard, this is a shed the size of a small garage. We had a particular set-up that we needed the shed to fit in our yard to accommodate our fenced-in area. Cornerstone was able to create a spec of the new shed to our requests including double-doors and windows. We also requested a pitched roof where we can have additional loft storage. It was amazing the transformation. All was done within a short period of time and the Cornerstone team worked with us all the way. We bid several other construction companies and Cornerstone's bid provided us with more of what we wanted (tear down existing and rebuild new structure) without the huge price-tag others had quoted to "renovate the existing structure". I will definitely use Cornerstone Builders again for my future remodels and builds. Great job, great service, and attention to detail."
