"We can not speak highly enough about our experience with Don Lorenc Construction. He and his crew are incredibly professional and clearly experts in their field. Everyone who works with Don is in-house, so he is able to complete work in the projected time period. They are immediately responsive to every question and request. From the initial planning to the final construction, they guided us and walked us through every step. The final product is beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for. Working with Don was a pleasure, and we highly recommend Don Lorenc Construcrion for your next project."

"The quality of work is fantastic, and Marek is the best project manager you could ask for. The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."

"They were awesome. Went above and beyond. The price never changed. They were clean and meticulous and wanted to make sure we were happy. I even decided I wanted a bigger tub after he brought in the original one and I had him take it back. They did not complain or charge me more for the work. They are honest hard working, I can’t say enough positive things. The only negative and not really because it was Christmas time was a slight delay. To make up for that they wanted to work weekends and holidays as well. Pick them you won’t be disappointed."

"We were extremely pleased with the quality of work and the promptness of the completion. Kingdom Made knew my mother was coming to live with us and really worked with us to complete the job before her arrival. They really cared about the job being done perfectly for her! "

"I hired Platinum Touch Industries LLC in the summer of 2018 for my first Fix and Flip remodel project and was impressed with their work. Vince and his team did a fantastic job from demo to cleanup to the finish touches per schedule. Vince was honest at front and very professional. Based on the Scope of Work I presented to him, we were all in the same page. Once milestones were completed within the Project Timeline, payment was made to him in a timely manner. Platinum is honest, reliable, and work ethic is impeccable. I was impressed with their work and demeanor, I hired them again the winter of 2018 for a minor remodel on one of my rental properties and in the Spring/Summer of 2019 for a Major Rehab on a Fix and Flip project in the Lombard area. I would recommend Platinum Touch Industries in all aspects for your Construction Project, whether it is a minor remodel to a major rehab. Thanks Vince and Bob for all you do. Keep up the Great Work!!!"

Customers say: Quick response

"It was amazing experience working with Pete and his entire crew. When he saw our unfinished basement, he came out with the full design and put several plans and options on the table and after few consultations, we finalized the plan. The team finished the whole work on time and got it approved by city. It’s look stunning now and we are enjoying every bit of it."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Grayslake, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
