"Dennis from Platinum is a miracle worker! I needed my carpet and silk floor runners cleaned urgently the day before guests arrived. Dennis responded immediately to my request and I was convinced of his ability to restore my carpet to the best condition possible, and he really came through! My cream colored carpet was littered with significant cat vomit stains and had an overall grayish cast that a previous cleaning service could not eliminate. Dennis made my carpet look bright and new, and every stain was removed without a trace. He removed almost all water so I could walk on the carpet directly afterward and it was almost completely dry before I went to bed 8 hours later, totally dry by morning. Dennis accommodated me at the last minute and I am amazed at the quality result of his work. Dennis exceeded my expectations, he is an exceptional communicator, and I am confident he is the BEST out there. I will be using him for my upholstery cleaning. I very highly recommend Platinum! "

"The two men were punctual , friendly and professional . There was a glitch in that their vacuum after applying shampoo was not working , there it took long than normal to clean moletecthe job . My only complaints my is it took literally days for the carpet and upholstery to dry ,, I believe this was because of the faulty vacuum"

"The workers were rude and abrupt when asked questions. When we asked if they were going to put pads under the legs of the furniture (only one bedroom and furniture and only two had beds) they said we don't clean near the furniture so they are not needed. So if you have rearranged your furniture these guys are not for you."

Although he initially argued with me that it wouldn't help in the traffic areas, it did help. All in all, you get a decent job for an affordable price. The trick is for the homeowner to be proactive in having carpets cleaned twice a year because for really dirty carpets, this company does not provide the adequate service to get a dirty carpet cleaned. I was surprised and disappointed to be charged an extra $12 by the provider once he got to the house for to clean one closet (that I had told the service person over the phone that was part of the cleaning situation). The cleaner guy was not going to do any cleaning unless I agreed to pay that extra fee. I was not in a position to argue at that time.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The service given by Stanley Steemer is for a quick carpet cleaning at an inexpensive price. I acknowledge that the public knows that ahead of time and needs to be proactive in having their carpets cleaned regularly for this service to be worthwhile. The provider does not spend extra time needed to clean really dirty carpets, and often a month later the carpet looks almost like it did before they cleaned it. So the consumer needs to know up front that it is a quick easy clean not necessarily a long term clean depending upon the condition of the carpet. (which is not provider's fault).</p> <br />"
