Raymond came and asked what my issues were with the computer, listened to all my complaints. I explained about needing one virus software for work (encryption) and one for my computer's needs. He began by checking all the usual sites of issues, ran a virus scan product or two and determined that my issues were not viral related (yeah) but mostly overloaded with add-ons from several companies/sites.

Those got cleared out/removed, he made my home page much more user friendly for me, and explained tons of questions that I had about 'why this, why that, how this, etc.'  He made sure that at start-up, the computer wasn't bogged down, and by then there was already a big improvement. He changed my search engine from one that had been installed when I bought it but didn't know enough to change it.  I now know how to use either of the browser options.

He found documents that I knew were "in the cloud storage' but couldn't find (yes, I know, I'm one of those who wonders which cloud my stuff is in).  Raymond also set up my external hard drive so I could have yet another document storage location (to be really safe--especially since I still don't trust that cloud).

So now, instead of a computer that froze every few minutes I have a computer that is working well and I can concentrate on typing my end-of-term paper and not worrying that the computer will shut down.

Raymond was here about 90-105 minutes and the fee was very reasonable-- money well spent for what I got in return.

Southeast was able to install a point to point system and other camera surveillance systems across all the property and at a very cost competitive price. "Derek did very good work and remained professional when he realized the job was going to be bigger then expected. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Unfortunately I later found out he is not a man of his word and what a disappointment that was. When he realized the job was going to be much more involved than originally thought, he advised me it would cost more money. Of course, would not have expected less. I immediately advised him I could only allow him to continue with the job if he was willing to wait to cash the check I would give him until Monday or Tuesday the latest. He agreed. This was Saturday and he returned on Sunday to complete the work. It was obvious he preferred to finish the job and not have to come back several days later, which he did not have to do. I would have paid him for the work he had already completed and hired someone else to finish the job. However, he instead cashed my check early Monday without confirming with me it was okay to cash it. Granted it was a lot to ask, but he could have said no, and I would have put off the work until Tuesday. I had planned on having him do a lot more work, and not just theater system or PC repair. I will not be asking him back to do more work and I can not and will not recommend a man I don't feel I can trust!"
