"I asked Lee for a quote for 2 alternative solutions to install a surround sound and hang TV on the wall, with the goal of removing the components and the TV stand/media center from the leaving room. Lee came up with a much more creative idea to achieve my goal that wan't more extensive than what I asked him to do. Lee was very knowledgable and understands video, sound and system design. I like that fact that he does the design, was on site with the installers while the job was done, and came at the end to fine tune/calibrate my system himself. Why did Lee stand out from the others?
He was very knowledgeable (I did an extensive research before and all his recommendations were spot on), honest and creative. He was involved in every step of the process His prices were competitive, and he didn't try to up-sell me more expensive stuff than what I needed, or already had. Also, Lee stuck to his final quote even though the job took longer that expected.
Finally, I have to respond to a negative review that someone wrote saying that Lee quoted  $800 for a universal remote. Obviously I wasn't part of their conversation, but I find it hard to believe b/c ALL the quotes I got from Lee were in writing by email and he
quoted me around $400 for a high end remote including his time to program it to my system. It is a shame that people can write inaccurate stuff and effect someone's reputation that way.

"This company made everything easy and the result was perfect!! I needed a large 82” tv hung in my living room and also an electronic fireplace mounted under it. In addition I wanted the wires hidden which was done to perfection. I also in my hallway had a huge decorative picture with a frame and it was extremely heavy and they mounted it perfectly. Also I had a floating cabinet in my man cave to store my PS5 gaming system and they installed that as well. The company appeared to pay attention to detail constantly measuring and using a level to be sure the outcome was right. I would recommend this company to anyone for tv, sound or any other type of installs."

"My second appointment with Geek Choice in March went well. The phone call from the office to determine what I wanted to accomplish at the visit is a great idea. I would say that here is where Geek Choice can look for complications. For example, someone who's used a computer at work and at home may still be unaware of some basic ideas. For example, if a device is to be added, does it need to be charged, does the person have the correct cable or battery, etc. Young people know this; older people do not necessarily.
The representative was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and offered additional tips. He arrived within the time frame specified.

"Install went great. They didnt cobtacr me I had to contact them to schedule install and there was some back and forth on applying my discount but other than that it went really great."

My only complaint was that it cost as much for the installation as for the generator, and they wanted a similar amount to repair an outlet immediately adjacent to the wall on which he was working.
