"Ty and Matt developed a comprehensive plan for our new home. They set up our new media room with surround sound and 4K TV. We also wall mounted TVs in the kitchen and master bedroom. They were able to integrate our current in wall speakers with a new Sonos system and tied everything together with a superb WiFi network. The work was done promptly with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend their services!"

Small jobs welcome

"Awkward job installing a TV and sound bar from former home to a new location with an inset TV console area from the 1990’s. James and his team know their stuff. They did an excellent job installing in a challenging location and then set up the sound bar and surround sound perfectly. Can’t recommend he and his team more highly."

"all went well, excellent communication before after and during installation, price was a little higher than I expected, but considering how everything else was, I felt that I got my money's worth for the quality and speed of the installation"

FAQs for home theater system or media center installation projects in Seattle, WA

For those on a budget, a home theater system can be installed for as little as $5,000. This simple setup, which doesn’t require professional installation, includes essential components that provide reliable visual and audio performance. It's a budget-friendly way to enjoy movies, TV shows, and live events from the comfort of your home.

Plan to spend at least $70,000 for a high-end home theater. At this price point, you’re paying for advanced components, including flagship projectors, reference-grade speakers, dedicated subwoofers, robust A/V receivers, and professional installation. These features deliver outstanding picture quality, rich surround sound, and a polished finish. Costs climb quickly when you add custom seating, acoustic treatments, and smart-home integration, so ask your installer for a detailed estimate before committing.

The ideal screen size for optimal home theater viewing ranges between 100 and 120 inches. A well-proportioned home theater room measures 24 feet by 15 feet, with a minimum ceiling height of nine feet. However, smaller spaces, such as 15 feet by 20 feet or 10 feet by 12 feet, can also work well. These dimensions enhance acoustics and visual performance, creating an immersive entertainment environment.

A well-built home theater room should last as long as the house, but the electronics inside need periodic attention. Plan to review your equipment every four to five years to see whether new formats, connection standards, or performance upgrades justify a change. Upgrading outdated projectors, receivers, or streaming devices keeps the system running efficiently and prevents compatibility issues, all while protecting the investment you’ve already made in the space.
