"Ed was one of three invididuals who came to my home to provide a quote for the work I needed: repair of a damaged area in my kitchen floor as well as sanding/refinishing the kitchen floor and a bedroom floor where I had pulled up an old carpet. He was prompt, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable. His quote was actually the lowest of the three I obtained, but it was his long experience in the trade (and other excellent reviews) that convinced me to hire him. He was able to obtain a piece of reclaimed wood to repair the damage in the kitchen floor and integrated the repaired pieces seamlessly into the existing floorboards. The carpentry team is well along with installation of cabinets, trim and baseboards and will build custom shelving. The quality of the work is excellent. They worked with me to choose trim compatible with original trim in my 1860 clapboard home and it looks great! The board and plaster team closed up the remaining spaces with smooth walls. The countertop team and painter have been scheduled.
