The company was very helpful to assist...the down side was waiting for the weather to not be too cold to allow the fence to be installed (which took a few weeks). "My job entailed removing a large section of concrete driveway in front of my garage and replacing it. The job was started on approximately the schedule upon which we agreed. However, once the old driveway had been removed, two weeks passed before the new one was poured, with the accompanying mess. Concrete was splashed on masonry (with no attempt to remove it) and the final work was not finished until 4 months later. In the meanwhile, a 30 foot crack developed in the new section of driveway. I am not sure the agreed-upon expansion joints were installed and I fear that the new section will be in the same condition the old one was in a few years. These factors could be overlooked if it were a cheap job, but this company charged top prices (perhaps even higher than normal) and I expected a first-class job."

"SBC did a fantastic job building me a new deck and re-paving the patio area underneath. Justin was great in coming out to measure the area and discuss options for both the deck and the patio. Steve's teams did a wonderful job with the work itself. Everything was done exactly as stated and the end product was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The reason for this not being a 5 start review is two-fold. First, all of the work was scheduled at the last minute, with less than 24 hours notice of when the teams would be out to deliver materials or do the work. Luckily this didn't end up being an issue, but it could be difficult if you're trying to schedule explicitly around the project. Second is the difficulty in getting the final piece of work completed, for installing an exterior electric outlet. It took an extra month after the completion of all other work to get that done. If electrical work is required, I'd recommend contracting that externally to SBC."

He was very thorough and explained that the stucco failure was caused by improper drainage around the basement steps. He explained exactly how it would be fixed and what needed to done to correct the drainage problem. His crew showed on time on the scheduled date, did an excellent job and were very polite and professional. I was very pleased with the price, attention to detail and quality of workmanship. I would hire this company again."
