"We had heard word of mouth that Watkins home improvement was a great business to deal with so we asked for some estimates. They came out very fast, took measurments and discussed every aspect of what needed to be done. Not only that they explained in detail the right way to do it and why they would it that way. Truly made us comfortable in our decision to hire them. Unlike a lot of contractors they were litterally out here the next day to get the work done. They worked hard and fast. Even in this heat to get the job done. They did run into a problem. We had an entire side of the house the sill was rotted. They informed us and gave us a reasonable price to add that to the job. When they were done they lowered the quote due to not haveing to do as much as they estimated to level the house. They took a substantial amount off the bill. They could have easily not said anything and charged us full price. But they were honest and true to there word. I highly recommend them for any work."

"Mr. Little did everything he said he would and during the time we discussed. He was polite and professional in person and on the phone. He even asked me if I was satisfied with the job before he asked for compensation. I have already given his name/number to a friend who needs some home repairs."

"During the month of November, I was searching for a contractor to renovate my bathroom. In the process of looking, I stumbled upon KPS contracting, and I am glad I did. They are very diligent in their work, making sure to keep on task until the job was done. The finished product also exceeded my expectations. They also made sure to clean up after themselves, which i greatly appreciated. I will always continue to recommend them for jobs like this in the future"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hamilton, GA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
