"I found water damage in the morning and after considerable investigation, determined that it was from a pinhole leak in a water pipe in the basement.  I had to turn off the main water valve to stop the leak, so I needed to repair this quickly.  I have used Burkhardt Plumbing before with success, so I called them again.  They were able to come that afternoon ( I called around noon) and Dean arrived within the promised time slot. 



He fixed the leak, and also advised me that it was probably due to insulation around the pipe which was held in place by small wires.  The insulation around the wire itself was decaying (probably installed 40 years ago) and could have caused an electrostatic charge (?) between the two metals which would corrode the copper pipe.  I appreciated this extra information, so that I can remove the rest of the insulation and prevent future leaks (the insulation was put on to prevent condensation and is no longer necessary).   I thought the cost of the repair was fair.

"Sky was awesome! He answered my email within 10 minutes. Provided quote over text, offered great quote. Scheduled work the next day. Sky arrived on time, started right away on installing the new toilet. Started replacing my bathroom fan and told me I bought the wrong size. He said don’t worry I’ll go and get the right sized one. Wow! What service as I was working from home. He texted me a picture of a fan with a light and gave him a hands up. Got back to my place and seems like in no time the fan was in!
