"United Freight of America did an absolutely fantastic job! I have never needed a service like this before, but I went to Angie's list found the highest rated service and United Freight came through perfectly! Very responsive and professional staff! The driver who delivered the car was courteous and professional too! Excellent job!"

"Mr. Dobelstein is terrific to work with: he is very organized, friendly and professional and did a wonderful job hanging the blinds and putting together a metal media table. <br /> Since I had measured 13 windows myself in our 80-year old house, he had to work around a couple of my novice-type errors in measuring to get the blinds hung correctly. But he did that with no problems, complaints or additional expense. <br /> Next time, I'll ask him to measure the windows before ordering. <br /> <br />"

"It helped save my life. I recently lost my Husband and his income. My air conditioner went out. My Windows are painted shut. So I thought about adding screens to the burglar iron doors. My Husband was the epitome of a Handyman. With him suddenly and unexpectedly dead and his income too, I felt helpless but not hopeless. I put a request in on Angie’s list. Got four calls. One couldn’t help. One I couldn’t afford. One kept promising to come but did not. But “Handyman” Bidwell Company made and kept an appointment with me, accessed the job, went and priced the cost, provided a reasonable cost that I could afford, accepted the job, made the frame and screens. Today I opened both the front porch and side Carport doors and let God’s breeze of fresh air circulate my lungs and my home, I feel pleased and wonderfully blessed to be able to breathe in my home especially since I suffer from acute asthma. I appreciate their quick turn around, their courteous customer service and professionalisms. Sending a special Thank you to the Bidwell Company and a special “Thank You” to Sawyer Bidwell. Thank You Cynthia Kellum"

"We recently bought a house and have hired a few companies to work on different projects. What we learned from the process is good handyman is hard to come by. That is why we feel very fortunate to find Complete Home Repair. Al and his sons are truly excellent. They worked on our house for 6 days on various things. They were always on time, polite, and thoughtful. We felt comfortable to leave them in the house, but we met every morning to discuss the work on previous day. They did a fabulous job. On the top of that, for whatever concern we had, they also went the extra mile to address it.  <br /> I want to share a small detail that I think shows Al's true color. One of the projects is Al installing a screen door for us. We agreed that if it takes more than 1 hour, he will charge more. On the next day, when I asked him how long it took him to finish the installation, Al told me exactly one hour. He could have told me longer and charged me more, but he didn't.  <br /> This is the second time we hired Al. We are sure that it will not be the last time. He not only earns our business, but also wins our heart. Highly recommended!! <br />"

"The car port is so beautiful that people think, nobody has any idea it was added on.  Because they, we had a new roof put on about a year before they where able to get the same roofing and so it looks like it's always been there. I mean, there is no better complement than that. It does not look added on. We've had people who have come and we've had visitors who say your house is complete now. They're work was just wonderful. The only thing I could say, I don't know if I will be able to make you understand without being able to see it but  how would I put this? We wish that we had been a little bit clearer in what we specified because we thought we were getting, having the car port go all the way to the end, to cover the fence and they stopped it about 5 feet before that. And so, We wanted to be able to come from the house to get under the car port to either one of our cars, it's a double car port and you can only, the only covered area was about a 4 foot square area. When they where working on it I was watching and I went out there and I said, "Wait a minute, isn't this supposed to come all the way out to cover this end of the car port?" They said, "No that not the original plan" and I said "yes it was".  When I was discussing that with them they said, "Oh to do that at this point you would have to pay an extra $4,000.00". We said, No, no where not doing that cause we thought we had made it clear to you.". The problem was there were no drawings, no diagram it was just kind of a word of mouth thing, like this is what we want and they understood it you know. And so, my recommendation in the future and with any other work I have done is I want to see a diagram, I want them to repeat to me exactly what they think I want, if that makes any sense. We told them that this was the only thing that kind of left a bad taste in our mouth because the work they did is just beautiful. And, you know, but there's always that one little thing that your unhappy about. I didn't want to pay the extra money because I felt like we had paid enough, you know. We got about 3 estimates and they were probably in the mid point, I know construction is expensive. That was a lot of money to us. They were good. They just didn't communicate on that one aspect. I would have a hard time calling them again. It seems kind of contradictory because the work they did was beautiful but we just weren't happy, you know, 100% happy with them not adding that extra. It would have been a 20 x 5 foot section and that would have been the part of the carport they didn't add. We really enjoyed working with them except for that 1 thing. And we told them when they came out at the end, we said, "We really love the work but every time we look at this end of the carport we're not happy because we were sure we had communicated that to you.". You know we're all standing out in the yard looking at the house and saying this is what we want and I'm thinking they knew exactly what I want and what I was saying and they didn't. I hate that, I hate that we had to have that one little black mark, you know."

"Called Clay Massey after I heard he installed solar from a friend who had Clay do previous work at her house. He arrived on time and measured area then called back with bid in a few days. I told him to go ahead with the project which he finished ahead of time and was very helpful in explaining everything to me. Everything was cleaned up before he left. Felt very comfortable with him in my house alone. Even gave him the code to the locks so he could install automation system in house. I have had him do several more projects since then doing construction projects around the house, including an outdoor kitchen by the pool. I love the solar and automation system for the pool. I have had several more months of pool enjoyment because of the solar heat. Saved myself a lot of money not running the gas heater."

"I had previous experience with HVAC systems in general and had done business with Trinity in my work, so they were one of the three contractors I called for quotes. I knew I needed some upgrades as well as system replacement, so we drew up a scope of work to get things focused. David Mickle visited and gave us a quote for a Rheem two stage heat pump with two stage gas 95% furnace as a dual fuel system. It was neither cheap nor inexpensive (there's a difference), but I knew it would take some major dollars to do what we wanted. The system installed might be a little pricey, but it's actually a commercial grade system with some major bells and whistles. <br /> <br /> We set up a date for the demolition and installation and everybody showed up on time and ready to work. THESE GUYS ARE GOOD!! They did a high quality job in two and a half days, quite acceptable considering all I needed to have done. It helped that I have been in an associated industry for a long time so we could speak the same language, but I saw no indication that  they would do anything differently for someone who didn't know what was going on. They were professional in every way, from the first minute on the job to cleanup. <br /> <br /> The only problem was because the installation tech slightly overcharged the system with refrigerant (easy to do in mild weather) which caused the heat pump to kick off because of a high pressure safety. A quick visit to draw out the extra gas took care of that. <br /> <br /> I have tracked our KWH usage for the last two years and saw to our delight that the Alabama Power bill for mid April-mid May was 35% of what it was the previous year; mid May-mid June 40%; mid June-mid July 50%. And the system is so quiet! The old one sounded like a C-130 on a takeoff roll. The new one is actually hard to hear. <br /> <br /> Trinity and Rheem is a combination that's hard to fault. Will use them again? Oh, yes."
