Expectations were presented prior to the project. Details on what would happen and how the project would go. Would not hesitate to use again ERV installed New basement egress. This project did not go as planned, but not at the fault of basement systems. Was originally supposed to get a BILCO door but due to unforseen issues, that was not able to happen. They ended up installing a new staircase from my basement to ground level. Work was first rate and ended up better than a bilco door. Company re landscaped and everything is as it was. We knew exactly what we were getting and what the costs would be if we decided to make changes during the construction. The project included an full bath, large open area for the kids to play in, built in shelves, and a theater room with a custom bar and platform. "The owner, Shaun, visted our home, talked with us about the design, made measurements, and a few days later provided an estimate (including a computer aided design). After signing the contract he began work within two weeks. Shaun estimated the job would take about two months and it did. Shaun was always available and made good suggestions along the way (and without charging extra). His subcontractors are very courteous and all workmanship was excellent. Shaun does not provide an allowance for bath fixtures and floor covering (we used ceramic tile for the entire basement). However, he does provide an estimate and can suggest suppliers he works with. We used his suppliers who were very helpful and allowed us to use Shaun's contractor discount. This was one of the best remodeling jobs we've ever experienced."
