He went above and beyond on my job making sure everything was painted including the foundation and gas meter! He also did some repairs to some trim and a small section of siding in the prep work that look great. I bought new handsets and locks for all the doors and he even installed them after painting the doors. What is even more special about his company being a local family owned business is when he needed help from a crew on the big days it was his brothers that joined the project. Amazing work the house looks completely new. I am absolutely recommending his services to my friends, coworkers, and neighbors!!!!!"

"Alex, the owner of Castillo Constructions, is just such a sweet and lovely guy. I was struggling with the fact that the garage doors on my home in Oregon were starting to fall off. The wood had rotted. The rental management company that handles my property came back with an insane quote of almost $9,000 to replace the carriage doors. My "only other option," they told me, was to replace the carriage doors with an electric garage door. But the carriage doors were one of the details that gave such character to my home. I explained this to Alex. At first, his bid was not far from the original one I had received. But when I explained to him that I really couldn't pay that much, he went back to the drawing board. I am so grateful to him for getting this job done at almost half the price that competitors were quoting. There were some delays along. the way, because the lumber was not delivered - but he was always communicative and clearly explained what had happened. The doors look absolutely fabulous. "Eugene was very prompt with contacting us to look over the job and give a quote. The job was done beautifully by his two floor refinishers and they took a total of four days from start to finish. Eugene recommended the correct finish for the oak floors which complimented the oak hardwood steps that were not refinished. Val and Michael were polite and very neat and tidy with their work and they were able to move my furniture which was a necessary requirement for us. Very pleasant crew and again a beautiful job."

"Charles did a great job again - we used him to renovate two bathrooms 4 1/2 years ago. We called him late in the summer, and he came to the house to discuss what we wanted to do and provided a quote. Given our schedule as well as his, we agreed on an early December timeframe to have the work done, which he estimated would take a week to complete. He left it to us to pick out the appliances on our own and did not include them in the quote and just asked that we send him the specs once we did so he could make sure there would be no issues. He took us to the tile/countertop shop to pick out the quartz and backsplash tile, and to plumbing stores to pick out the sink and faucet. He came with the countertop fabricator a few weeks ahead of the scheduled start date to have the countertop templated so it would be ready prior to starting the job. We delayed the start date by about a week to accommodate both our schedules. The demolition was done in one day as promised, and Charles had one person assisting with the demo, the prepping for the tiling and doing the tiling. Chris was very good, and everything was left clean each day - they used drop cloths from the front door to the kitchen to make sure no dirt was spread though the house. Charles installed most of the appliances when they were delivered, and did great work removing and reinstalling shutters on the windows and making adjustments for a slight change in counter height, as compared to the old countertop. Charles has great attention to detail and makes sure everything looks great. The work took a day or two longer than planned due to an unexpected snowstorm in the middle of the project, so there was a day or two when no one could get out to the house, understandably. Charles is easy to work with and obviously takes pride in making sure the finished product is what you wanted and expect. We would definitely hire Charles again."

He responded quickly to questions and communication was very good. Kelsey was very helpful with the designing. She was patient and worked help me get the look I was hoping for. The carpentry workmanship, quality design and fit of all pieces was amazing. All the people working for them, electrical, tile, painting, plumbing did quality work and if anything needed to be addressed it was taken care of. All work went according to a posted schedule so there was a clear communication of the steps of the project. They were also sensitive to the neighbors in the vicinity and made sure to prevent the extra traffic from being an issue. I was very happy with the completed project and very impressed with the company."
