Phil and Brooklyn showed up right on time, were very professional, worked for 8 hours straight with normal breaks and kept the area as clean as possible as they went. On the front end Peter and Ginger did a great job with the appointment setting and flexibility that was needed negotiating the contract. "Two guys showed up on time and got to work immediately inspecting and vacuuming and snaking the fireplace and chimney flue. They operated form the roof and inspected the entire chimney from top to bottom. Both men answered my lay questions kindly and with plenty of detail about minor and major issues they found and the forecasted schedule of when I should address them. They did NOT do the classic inspect-and-force-you-into-buying-a-new-liner routine and that was much appreciated.  They took their time and did not rush the service or question/answers. "Called Christman Chimney Repair on Wednesday. They arrived on Thursday.
After inspection and cost estimation, I agreed to the work and price, and the crew started that afternoon.
A medical emergency (not job related) caused the work to be interrupted. They explained the circumstances and promised to finish the job the next day.
The next day they arrived, finished the job, billing exactly what was quoted.
The work  looks good, the flashing repair stopped the leak, as evidenced by the lack of leaking  during the Hurricane, and things appear to be in a good state.
