"Filled out a form online and got a call within minutes. Sales rep Steve gave a stellar presentation and promised next day install (between 2 and 4PM). Waited until 4:30, called, was told crew was still out. Left a note on the door saying I would have to reschedule (how could this job be done in the dark?). Steve left me a voice message saying it was done. Next morning I was ready to get my ladder and have a look when the phone rang (it was the installer saying he would be out in 2 hours). Aton did a great job with the install, even posing for a photo and taking my camera up the ladder to get a pix of the finished work. "When I first contacted Blue Ribbon Exteriors, I left a message.  I was happy to hear back from Evan very quickly.  We agreed on a time where he could stop by and give me an estimate on the shingles and gutter guards.  They were a little bit late due to traffic, but did call me to let me know that.
He was upfront about the cost to replace shingles ($100) and very knowledgable as we talked.  I expressed interested in getting gutter guards as I have some gutters above the garage that tend to clog up quickly.  They have a product they recommend, and I decided to go ahead and have that installed.  He said I wouldn't need it on the gutter on the front of the house since the leaves likely didn't get into those gutters based on the way the house is.  I appreciated that.  The cost ($400) was for 3 lengths of gutter guard and the cost included cleaning out the gutters as well.
He emailed me the estimate and I agreed to have the work done on Feb 18th.  I originally thought they would be there at 9:30, but I think I misunderstood the email and that was just an example of how long it would take.  I did give them a call and got the time they would be there (and they were right on time).  I had a couple of other questions about green marks on the shingles.  Evan explained what that was and said they could also take care of that, but this isn't the time of year to do it.  I asked that they give me an opinion on the health of the roof since we had a hail storm several years ago but the roofers sent by the insurance company had said there was no damage.  Evan confirmed the roof is in good condition with very llittle or no hail damage.  There was what I thought was a stick in a high gutter that I asked if they could just get down.  It turned out to be a bottle rocket (?!).  They got that down for me as well.
They were very professional and knowledgable.  I was happy to have some honest folks come out, and we will be having them out in the future.
