"They called to let me know when they would come because I wanted to be home when they arrived.  They had adequate ladders to reach all gutters.  Did a great job and even tapped in some nails that had come loose.  They found and brought down a rather large piece of slate that was dislodged and hanging at the edge of the gutter--a hazard in the making.  All in all I think they are a really good team and we will hire them again next year.  Although some of the companies that advertise on the list seemed to be a little cheaper, that may be due to the size of the house.  I think it was a fair price for a job well done.

"The contractor completed all gutters in one day in the rain and til dusk without a break.. He really worked hard for his pay. Very polite. I supplied him with hot coffee. Got several inches of snow followed by a hard freeze in January. When it got above freezing water poured over the gutters and froze at night creating an ice problem at the front door. Will see how the gutters work in a hard rain in summer."

We are very pleased with our new roof and had a good experience working with Guyaux Roofing.  B Guyaux dropped off a shingle sample about a month prior to the job, and the shingle manufacturer he uses has a design tool online that alllows you to upload a photo of your house to experiment with different shingle options. That was helpful in selecting the shingles.

Our roof is about 1,400 sq ft.  It took about 3 days to complete the job.  B Guyaux had a crew of himself and 3 other employees to complete our job.  All 4 of them were there each day, arrived promptly when they said they would and all were very pleasant and professional.  In addition to installing the new roof, they replaced any wood that was rotten, cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris, cleaned the gutters and fixed something small on my chimney that I asked them about.  The new roof looks great and appears to have been installed very well.  They were also very patient with me asking a million questions about the job, and easy to get in touch with on the phone.

We got about 4 quotes last summer for this job.  Only 1 other company provided a lower quote than B Guyaux and that other company's quote consisted of a phone message that said "I looked at your house, it will be $xxxx to replace your roof."  B Guyaux provided a detailed written estimate of what would be included in the price, and included information from the shingle manufacturer on the warranty that would also be included with the job.  We had also heard a few favorable "word of mouth" reviews on B Guyaux, so we decided to go with him.

"These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

"We purchased an older home with active leaks and water damage.  The main roof is slate with box gutters and there are also flat roofs on additions that were added when the home was modified in the 40's.  I feel so fortunate to have been able to get Toth roofing to do the work.  They are totally professional and do the job right.  I received a full written proposal, the work was scheduled as promised and the results are outstanding.  They are really the best roofers I have ever worked with.  They are busy but are honest able when they can do the work and worth waiting for.

"I really want to give Anything Gutters a good review. When they were doing the gutter replacement project at my house, they were great. Quality materials and workmanship on the work they did. But I cannot get them to come back and finish the job. The gutters look great, but the downspouts are still not attached to the house with straps or clamps, so they move during windy days or in storms. I am hoping they do not fall with a big gust of wind. There is also wood that they said needs replaced on the sides of my house near the roof. That project was included in the initial quote from them. But then while they were working on the gutter replacement, they told me their guys who do that type of work were too busy and they would reschedule. They took that wood part of the project out of my quote and made it a separate project, but they never came back to complete it. Like I said above, they do quality work, are reasonably priced, and are professional when they are working on the job. The problem is with their attention to detail (forgetting to attach the downspout supports) and follow-up communication. I have been waiting a year, since last Summer, to get this project completed. I would change my review to all positive if they would finish these projects, but I cannot seem to get the guys at Anything Gutters to do that."
