He responded online the evening I submitted my request to Home Advisor and called me the next morning. He was able to get the job done that afternoon! He connected my old Bose turntable and Go Video VCR/DVD player to my Bose surround sound system (which was not working properly) and Sony HDTV. He was able to get rid of extra wiring, which I appreciated. Most importantly, he had me write down his clear and simple instructions for using the remotes. He watched and advised me as I practiced using the remotes to watch the TV, a VCR tape, a DVD, and listen to CDs AND my vinyl records, through the working surround sound system! "What a great experience it was working with Wes. He pre-wired an unfinished room for home theater installation and returned to install the in-wall/ceiling speakers, AV Receiver, as well as mount the TV to the wall once the room was completely finished. From the beginning to the end of the project, Wes has provided professional genuine service that you often find missing today. He is also extremely knowledgeable in his field of work and responsive to questions regarding equipment needs, or any concerns the client may have. "Installation went very well. The tech was knowledgeable and professional. Problem was when I received my cc bill. I was billed the $129 Angie's List fee which was to include TV wall mount (mount not include), connect all necessary video and basic audio, neatly dress wires, configure peripheral devices, and conceal in-wall wires. And I was billed $140.49 from HELLOTECH. I'm still trying to get the $140.49 charge reversed."

Raymond came and asked what my issues were with the computer, listened to all my complaints. I explained about needing one virus software for work (encryption) and one for my computer's needs. He began by checking all the usual sites of issues, ran a virus scan product or two and determined that my issues were not viral related (yeah) but mostly overloaded with add-ons from several companies/sites.

Those got cleared out/removed, he made my home page much more user friendly for me, and explained tons of questions that I had about 'why this, why that, how this, etc.'  He made sure that at start-up, the computer wasn't bogged down, and by then there was already a big improvement. He changed my search engine from one that had been installed when I bought it but didn't know enough to change it.  I now know how to use either of the browser options.

He found documents that I knew were "in the cloud storage' but couldn't find (yes, I know, I'm one of those who wonders which cloud my stuff is in).  Raymond also set up my external hard drive so I could have yet another document storage location (to be really safe--especially since I still don't trust that cloud).

So now, instead of a computer that froze every few minutes I have a computer that is working well and I can concentrate on typing my end-of-term paper and not worrying that the computer will shut down.

Raymond was here about 90-105 minutes and the fee was very reasonable-- money well spent for what I got in return.
