"The experience was overall excellent, except after it was done I started to question the price and I noticed a few other things that make me grade slightly lower on both price and quality. I should have gotten more quotes, but I had already spent $129 for the one room. I did have a lot of issues and they had to replace a pretty large area of drywall in my hallway. I can’t grade them poorly on price, when I didn’t get more quotes and I didn’t question it until after the work was done and I had paid him. Chris (the owner) did say that he was willing to work with me on price, so I would take him up on that negotiation next time. I was naïve about the price before the project started. As far as quality, the color of the wood trim they replaced around my furnace chimney does not match the rest of the woodwork on the chimney. I have dark wood, and they stained it a bit lighter than that. I said it was acceptable, so it's my fault for not liking it as much after they left. When the sun hits it just right, I can really see the difference in color. But, like I said, it's my fault for saying it was ok. The craftsmanship on replacing that piece of trim was excellent. It looks beautiful, except the color being a bit off. The painter who did the painting afterwards found a couple areas where texture spray is missing and said there was texture spray on my ceiling fan blades facing the ceiling. He only mentioned that, because he didn’t want me to think he did it. I haven’t looked at the blades myself, but I believe him. The painter also pointed out a slight crack forming already near my chimney. I’ve already talked with the owner Chris about that and Chris said he’d come out and look at it. We haven’t made the appointment yet, but Chris seemed concerned about it and will stand behind his work. I’m not sure what’s going on there, because Mudslingers really did a thorough job replacing the drywall around my chimney. I was surprised to see the crack, as well. Overall the cleanup by Mudslingers was very thorough. I was able to comfortably move around my house during the project, which I wasn’t expecting to be able to do. My house looks 100% times better now than it did before Mudslingers repaired the walls. The owner (Chris), his son, and the 3rd worker were all very professional, nice, and they seemed to know what they were doing. His son even fixed a crack in my hallway that I hadn't even noticed. So I appreciated their being proactive while they worked. I trusted them with a key to my home and they used it responsibly. I would hire them again, but I would get a few quotes, just to compare prices. I didn't get more quotes because I had already invested $129 through Angie's List to hire them."

"I am very pleased with work. Unlike some of my other window quotes, Scott takes a no-pressure approach, quickly inspected home, took measurements and wife followed up a few days later with written quote. After I put 1/3 down, the windows were ordered and the install scheduled a couple weeks later. Scott and his son arrived promptly on scheduled date. Our home was built in 1930's, is cinder block, covered in old siding and still had original windows. This was not an easy task, but they worked very quickly and efficiently and finished entire 2-floor project in 1 day, returning on day 2 just to finish up some outside trim work and caulking. They did an excellent job cleaning up after project as well. Since the home is historic, part of the project was to salvage all of the original internal woodwork. I appreciated Scott's willingness to do so and it turned out well. They had to remove the wood trim and replace it after each window was installed. This did chip paint and require some touch up painting by us after the project was over, but Scott warned us about this upfront and damage was minimal (and to be expected). My one complaint is that some of the inside and outside caulking does not look as smooth and professional as I would have liked, but it's a minor complaint relative to the entire experience. Overall I am happy with results of installation and I've already recommended company to another friend."

What a great experience. Scott Watry came out and gave me a great price. When the crew came out a few weeks later and did the attic insulation, installed the windows and doors they did a superb job with the install even down to caulking and installation of molding around the windows. 

I trust Watry Homes and would use them again. If you are looking for new or replacement windows your search is over.  It just doesn?t get any better than these guys. Give them a call. They are also highly rated with the BBB.

"We provided funding and he purchased and installed storm windows,   His supplier did not notify him when his order came in and he was not extremely diligent in checking with them. That plus the time to make custom windows pushed the work from Jan into the first day of spring.   He did make all measurements correctly and did a good job on the install.
