"Koontz replaced an approximate 40 square foot section of my front walk. I was not home nor did I hire them. My 73 year old mother hired them. They charged her $3100 dollars for that small section of concrete. I am absolutely appalled..."

"What made their service so good was their professionalism; they didn't stop working until the job was done. No matter what little problems came up, they kept going. They are excellent, professional, and very pleasant."

"Excellent job. Pre-Sales engineer was excellent. He provided guidance on the sizing of the units and the best brand to use. He answered all questions very promptly and made multiple visits to the house to ensure the system that was the best for us was selected. The Installers were excellent. They worked extremely hard, and effectively removed a very heavy Lennox pulse furnace. The install work was very professional. The intake and exhaust vents were set up properly and the drain lines are very neat. I liked their use of pea gravel for the AC unit to ensure that it was properly leveled. They completed a very big job in 1 day. They had all of the right materials to do the job correctly and they started the work right on time. The AC unit works very well (not cold enough to fully check out the furnace yet). Len's partnered with Home Depot on this and it was a top-notch install."

"Our kitchen floor is a mess. After the initial installation. all the tiles shifted. The installer removed the whole floor and reinstalled. When asked about using spacers, the installer said he just eyeballs it. We now have grout lines that are 1/8", 1/4" and corners that do not match. Recently the grout began to crumble. Chad from Calcutta came out and promised to send someone out to repair when they got the grout color in stock. Well, we never heard anything. It's been about 4 months. I hate my kitchen floor. It is so hard to clean. Wish I would have gone with sheet vinyl. On a better note, the rest of the downstairs got vinyl plank and it looks very nice."

"The salesperson David was very honest and had no interest in upselling. He strongly advised against any interior drains for my basement, and he instead recommended an exterior drain called HydroBlox for my backyard. The estimate for the HydroBlox was $3,400. The installation occurred a few weeks later. Three employees used a machine to dig a trench in my backyard, and then because of utility lines, they hand-dug another trench in my side yard. They installed the pieces of HydroBlox and covered them with dirt. I expect the HydroBlox to properly drain the water from my yard, but if they do not, then I will update my review in the future."

"Poor installation quality, lack of follow up for warranty coverage. They sub out to local contracts with apparently no quality controls. Gunner put on a new roof, new siding, new front doors, and new gutters. Not one of those was done to complete satisfaction. They covered my dryer vent with Hardie board which could have caused a fire if I didn't smell the burning smell while I was doing laundry. My front 2 doors came in the wrong size after 8 weeks and they had to reorder which took another 8 weeks. Finally, the doors were installed improperly: surrounding trim too short, covered a gap under the step with flashing, and didn't align the doors properly. The flat roof part had to be redone 3 times and it still wasn't properly installed. The property manager at the time, who has since left, was very nice and gave me $1500 credit. I had 2 other roofers out since to look at the problem and both said the flashing was installed improperly and they have to pull off boards etc and this will co"

"If you're looking for a reliable, honest contractor who will do the work and honor the warranties, Buck Jones is NOT the person you want. The original work will be done in a timely manner but any problems you have later will not be taken care of. I had 2 doors installed and had problems with both soon after the job was finished. They were not installed properly in the first place. Buck never responded to texts or calls. I had someone else take care of them. Had a window seal break and Buck told me to call, order the new glass and told me to change the glass myself! He even came to my house to show me how to do it instead of doing it himself. Modern Builders replaced the glass. Again, Buck did NOTHING on any problems after the fact. I had windows, doors, siding & roof done. You would think he would be honest and responsible enough to do the right thing. He isn't. He was right there to take the money when the job was done but not to take care of the warranty work later on."
