"Rob Hanna was wonderful at explaining the product. Answered all of our many questions. We felt like he is an expert in his field and a wonderful ambassador for his company. Would recommend him to anyone interested in sunrooms, additions or just a screened in room."

"I used the company Champion Window Company of Wichita, LLC to replaced three windows for my home. I would have given them a five for quality but there was a small leak that ended up needing caulking. Overall I had a good experience with the company."

"Thomas Edger who is a principal of Patio Enclosures Inc. was our contact. The damage to the old patio enclosure occurred during several huge snow storms experienced in 2009 in this part of the country. Unfortunately, we were in the process of buying the house and the snow storms occurred while we were under contract for the purchase. When we decided to buy the house, one of the main selling points was the enclosed patio overlooking the golf course, so we were devastated when we found out it was damaged beyond repair. Tom Edger was very sympathetic to our plight and made sure the new enclosure was delivered and installed within budget and on time. His service and accessibility before, during and after the new enclosure was installed were way beyond professional courtesy. Our new enclosure is leak free and we love the versatility of having big glass sliding windows as well as screens. The enclosure itself is excellent quality and the service provided by Patio Enclosures Inc was superb. We would definitely recommend the Company and especially Tom Edger to anyone wanting to have an enclosed outdoor space added to their home."

"It went very well. They had some problems removing the old roof sections but once that was done they completed the job in good order. They did not construct the original patio room, I used them because they were much more reasonable price wise than the other patio enclosure company. They were $5000 less costly than the original installer. I would use them again. <br /> However, if you are planning on an aluminum patio enclosure keep in mind the cost of replacing damaged sections. It is much more costly than a conventional wood structure to repair."

"From our first of several meetings with Todd, he was imaginative, and flexible, and really understood what we were trying to achieve. (Which was a very natural and organic look that is nevertheless consistent with a century home with leaded-glass windows.) He patiently endured many changes in design and in proposed materials. He was very patient through the entire materials, hardware, and appliance-selection process--which was phenomenally tedious and took weeks. (He clearly blew through the design fee a long time ago but never asked for more.) He has a strong aesthetic sensibility. One of Todd's greatest strengths is that he is a cook himself, and so he absolutely understands the need for high-performance and functionality in a kitchen design. We have been very, very pleased with his design work and would recommend him strongly and enthusiastically. We were also delighted at the way that Todd really worked over subcontractors to get us the best value--even though there was nothing in it for him financially. We visited our friends' place to see the quality of the cabinets and it was first rate. He obviously and justifiably takes great pride in his craftsmanship. We are looking forward to seeing his final cabinet work. Todd also serves as a project manager to general or specific contractors, for an additional fee. We were confident enough with our general contractor that we did not engage him for this but might have under different circumstances. He clearly knows what he is doing. If you are considering him, after you have interviewed him, you are welcome to visit our kitchen to see the work when it is complete (projected 3-1-2010). Just ask Todd about the home on Chestnut Hills Drive."

"From the time Michael came out, to the completion of the project, working with Woodland Deck was a pleasure. They set up an immediate appointment after I called them. Other companies either didn't call back, or when I could get ahold of them, they set appointments up that were as much as 6 weeks out. Michael was wonderful to work with. He made professional suggestions, but was never pushy and opinionated. He never tried to upsell us. He also was in constant communication during the duration of the project, making sure there were no issues and that we were satisfied. <br /> The team was very prompt. They were at the project by 8am and worked straight through until 4pm. Other than a lunch break they were always at the job. Woodland Deck is a large enough company that once they started our job, they worked until it was completely finished. Even though Woodland is very busy, our job and work team was not shared with other customers. They never left a mess in our yard. Every evening it looked like they hadn't even been present. <br /> The quality and attention to detail was phenomenal, with the finished above & under deck looking gorgeous. Regarding the rain system, Woodland was very smart: They waited for numerous rains before they finally put the ceiling in. That way they could adjust any areas that needed additional rainproofing attention. 9 months and many rains later, we have no water leaking through the under deck area. <br /> Overall, our satisfaction with Woodland Deck Company and our completed project is A++++!. <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Hartville, OH

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
