"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"I can't say enough great things about Creative Custom Cabinets. Our projects for John were likely more complicated than the average. We live in a mid century modern home and hired John for 2 projects. One was to create a built-in credenza to match the original cabinets in the kitchen. He nailed it! The finished product looks perfect, and people think the credenza he built for us in 2021 is original to the house. The floating credenza was installed perfectly level and he did an excellent job with installing the hardware as well. Our home has dormer doors which are used for ventilation. The original doors were failing and John remade them. The fit and finish of the new doors are perfect. In fact, the wood he used is better than the original, so they should last even longer. John's craft in carpentry is a true work of art. If you hire him, I am sure you will be impressed with his knowledge of wood species and the respective pros and cons of the different types of wood depending on the application. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible.
