The in-home design consultation was very smooth and helpful, and while the pricing was a bit more than we were budgeting for, we believe the investment in upgrading our closet spaces (7 in total!) will be well worth it. "I have used the Tomas Brothers for a deck tear down and rebuild, installation of new windows and doors, and complete remodeling of our club room/basement including a small bathroom. They were responsive to my requests and creative in making a lovely cabinet to hide the sump pump. I will definitely call them when ready for the next project!"

"I don't recommend Heidler. Last month the internal mechanism in a 16-year-old pressure-assist toilet needed service or replacement (the water had started running constantly after flushing). I set an appointment for Heidler to come the next week and sent a photo of the internal mechanism's product information so the tech could bring parts. Plumber Tom arrived unprepared. He charged $200 for the house visit to diagnose that we needed a new mechanism installed, and said they'd email an estimate as they'd need to order it. We thought there was a mistake when we got the $850 estimate. I called the Heidler office (whose service manager also thought the estimate sounded high) and requested a corrected estimate. We didn't hear from anyone at Heidler again. We watched 20 minutes of youtube videos, bought the $177 mechanism from Amazon, and borrowed a pipe wrench. It took us amateurs 55 minutes to replace the mechanism ourselves. It wasn't difficult. Our opinion is Heidler planned to grossly overcharge us for an easy job."

"Vertical Connection is wonderful! I asked them for a certificate of insurance, and they gave it to me. Stephanie was very helpful. In an e-mail, I told her that I wanted white draperies. When I arrived at the store, she had many samples already picked out for me. I told her that I wanted the draperies to match the paint on my walls. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring a sample of the paint color. Stephanie, however, has samples of all of the Sherwin Williams paints, and she matched the swatch to the paint color perfectly. She also had a nice selection of hardware to go with the curtains. The installer put up the drapes in less than an hour. I had a great experience with this vendor!"
