"Quality and craftsmanship was excellent. I trusted Chester, the project manager completely. Our house was over 90 years old and he went literally "above and beyond" to help us when unrelated issues happened to come up with our boiler. He employs very talented subcontractors that he has worked with for years and who helped contribute to the smooth completion of our project. He has excellent taste and was extremely helpful in offering his opinion when we decided to make some changes. We were very happy with the look and finish of our garage- we re-used brick from the demolition and he was able to make the exterior match our existing house perfectly. He is attentive and available to answer questions and personally inspected all of the work as it was completed"

"I am 100% satisfied. From the very beginning, Howard demonstrated his committment to the project. It involved gutting two kitchens down to the studs, gutting bedrooms, installing new cabinets, installing kitchen fixtures (dishwasher, sink, garbage disposal), installing all new solid wood doors including locks, installing windows, insulation, a concrete sidewalk, a new exterior staircase, electrical work including recessed lighting and new outlets, refinishing the hardwood floors throughout. I’m probably leaving out some work but this is a list of the bulk of the work. My wife and I are 100% satisfied with the quality of Howard’s work. I am impressed with how clean and organized the work area was at the end of each workday. Howard’s team of workers were professional, courteous, and helpful in solving work related issues. Debris that was stored temporarily in our garage was also carefully organized and consolidated. When the debris was hauled away, the garage floor was swept and tidy. Howard is easy to talk to and he is flexible with changes that I made to the scope along the way. For example, after his workers began demo work I asked to reconfigure a closet opening. The next day his crew was making the change and it turned out better than I had planned. Howard completed the job on time and on budget. There was not even one small “extra” charge to the original contract. In fact, he did extra work that was not in the Scope. For example, a wood winder stair sustained damage at some point in time – before I bought the building. I lived with the damaged stair because I did not think it could be fixed without ripping up a large portion of the staircase. I didn’t even ask to have it repaired but Howard brought it to my attention and said that he would figure out a way to repair it. He made a small opening underneath the stair, in the room below the staircase to gain access. This attention to detail really set Howard apart. The stairway is now 100% back to its original condition when it was built, probably about 90 to 100 years ago. I started rehabbing small (1 to 4 unit) buildings in about 1985. I’ve used many contractors over the years so I can say with a reasonable level of real life experience, that Redstone is the best contractor that I’ve worked with. I recommend Howard without reservation and without any qualifiers."

"Over the last two years, Chi Renovation has helped us transform our home. We have had two large projects managed and delivered by Chi. We gutted three bathrooms (primary, on suite, guest), refinished our kitchen cabinets, changed all the kitchen stone work, added a second island, removed a wall and re-tiled our front porch. The work completed by Chi was excellent and definitely met our expectations. Our project manager, Tom, was excellent to work with. He spent hours with us going over design choices, explaining engineering elements, providing examples of similar work and helping us throughout both projects. Our first project with Chi started during the pandemic. We gutted our guest bathroom and made kitchen upgrades (including replacing counters, backsplashes, and fixtures). First off, Tom and Chi were with us every step of the way to help with stopping the water leak, remediating the problem and then ultimately incorporating fixing our kitchen along with additional work in our second project (two bathrooms, kitchen, front porch). It is extremely hard to know who to trust in the contracting business. Before working with Chi, we talked to friends and reviewed multiple websites. We ultimately picked Chi Renovation because their online reviews were great (and specific) and our first walkthrough with Tom to discuss our potential project was impressive. He was thorough, had great ideas and really cared about what changes/work would add value versus what would not. After two large projects, multiple accomplishments, countless changes and obstacles, we are beyond happy with the outcome and work delivered. Chi was professional, clear, consistent and honest form start to finish. We would not hesitate using Chi again and/or recommending them to our family and friends."
