"Anthony and his company did a small remodel of my basement an added a laundry room.  He framed the laundry room, installed drywall and painted the room.  In my rec room he removed the wallpaper, painted the entire room and installed crown molding and chair rail.  I am thrilled with the quality of the work.  Anthony also did exterior painting to my garage door, front door and window frames at the front of my house.  Anthony is the owner and was on the job every day.  The work was performed in a timely manner and quite cost efficient. "It is with deep satisfaction that I recommend Grady?s Painting and Plastering & Construction. Mr. George Grady is a skilled craftsman. He was hired to correct long neglected and extensive masonry and window issues on a large, beautiful Presbyterian Church built in the Civil War era in Philadelphia. The property was neglected with only minimal maintenance performed over the last 40+ years. The building was in severe decline and in need of stabilization and restoration on many fronts. Cracked ledge plates were chipped out and reestablished, internal walls damaged by leakage were broken out and repaired, brickwork was repointed and in severe cases reestablished to original strength and beauty. Leaks around the base of the building were addressed to stabilize deterioration of the foundation. Large rotted window sills under beautiful stained glass windows were restored after significant masonry reestablishment due to water damage under the rotted out sills. Broken and missing stained glass windows are in the process of repair and replacement. The process started with new metal frames cast by Mr. Grady. The new frames will hold clear painted replications of the original stained glass, also crafted by Mr. Grady. Regular windows all around the church and manse were also repaired and restored. Roof leaks were accurately identified and repaired. A sagging plaster ceiling has been torn out and restored. All this work was done by Mr. Grady alone or with an occasional helper. He worked with care, expertise and respect for the original structure. The results far exceeded our expectations and have injected new life into a building on the brink. This building, owned by the Presbytery of Philadelphia, now houses a new urban ministry in a newly gentrifying area of the city. We are happy to have had the good fortune to be connected to Grady's Painting and Plastering & Construction"

A large area of the garage ceiling (about 8’ x 10’) had water damage and needed new drywall. JA Drywall was very professional and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. "Due to below freezing temperatures this winter, I had a pipe in my garage burst (the pipe was garage facing, not behind the walls). While I was thankfully home when this occurred and shutoff the water within 10-15 minutes, portions of my drywall got soaked, leading to cosmetic damage. However, I wasn't sure if a longer term consequence of major structural damage or mold would occur. After inspecting the drywall, Larry saw no indication of mold or major structural damage (3 months after the incident), and gave me a few suggestions on how to fix the cosmetic damage by making a quick Home Depot run. Larry could easily have quoted me to gut and replace an entire wall's worth of drywall, but instead, walked me through a fairly inexpensive DIY fix and told me to give him a ring back if anything changed over the summer. I would absolutely recommend Doyle Drywall."

"Leonard wore booties when he came to evaluate job and took mold sample. He had the results in a couple of days and he and teo workers returned the next week to do the remediation. They covered the floors to the exit and kept house clean. Made containment barrier while they worked and removed all debris. It cost the same amount as the written estimate, and took the expected 2 days. They swept before they left. Since I could still smell the bleach, they let the vacuum run an additional 12 hours. They recommended a dehumidifier and a website to order it on-line."
