"There was just miscommunication in the beginning. I called to confirm my appointment as the technician was now late. They didnâ t have me down for that day or any record of my call. I then had to wait for parts to be ordered after diagnosing the broken freezer. I didnâ t know if he was going to order it. He said to call the office and tell them to order it which seemed weird. Then I couldnâ t pull out the refrigerator to unplug it myself in order to let it sit for 24 hours defrosting once the parts were in.. "Larry is the consummate pro. He's like the Holmes on Holmes of appliance repair. My most recent job (I have used him for 3 years) is the first time he was stumped by one of my appliances. The first solution he thought would work didn't, but then he was at the ready, ordering the correct parts as quickly as possible (My oven is older and harder to get parts for on the fly) and even offering to cover the costs of the first round of parts since they weren't the correct solution. He got it fixed in time for Holiday Entertaining and did it with a smile and a "Merry Christmas".
This is the guy you want coming to your home and fixing what's wrong. He won't make you fix something that isn't broken, he will tell you if it makes more sense to buy something new instead of profiting from fixing your clunker, and if it takes a little longer or comes at an unusual time, he doesn't jack up his prices.
