"The overall experience from planning, countertop grade selection and installation was excellent. Because of a tight dishwasher installation due to the previous installation of ceramic tiles and associated subfloor, the new countertops had to be installed at a slightly elevated height.  Some other potential bidders would not even consider doing this.  Heartwood even went further, suggesting more than one design accommodation, giving me a choice of options. They were very helpful in guiding my wife and I with the color and material selections.  They guided us through the process including measurements meeting all deadlines within their projected time frames. Measurement and installation was done in a courteous and professional manner. They coordinated with a plumber and appliance installer who they recommended. His work was of equal high quality. We stayed in contact with Heartwood prior to installation as I had some additional questions. On installation day, everything went like clockwork. "I contracted Jed Dinger Design to build a media wall cabinet for my flat screen tv and components. It was a unique design that I couldn't find online or in the store. I wanted a particular wood, stain and size. Additionally, I wanted it to operate in a certain way. Jed took all my ideas and built a beautiful and solid cabinet that operates just as I wanted if not better. Furthermore, it was easy to work with him. Generally, we communicated via phone and email. I provided him photos and the necessary measurements. He kept me updated on the progress of the cabinet by sending me pictures. I went to his shop to bring certain items that he needed. He came to the house to do the install. I definitely would hire him again."

One of the double cabinet installations required that he remove the post between the doors. He carefully sanded and stained the spot where it was removed to make it blend with the wood. "Look no farther...Custom Design Tile is the perfect company to remodel your bathroom! We contacted Mike to remodel our master bathroom in March 2021. Mike gave us a fair quote with detailed allowances in a few days after visiting our home. However, after the completion of our master bathroom; I can say it was totally worth every penny! Mike took us shopping for a day (about 6 hrs.) to many great companies including Mosaic Tile, Ferugson and VA Marble & Granite... to name a few. Throughout the shopping day, designers of various companies and Mike guided us through the selection. Just a hint before the shopping day, try to have a few pictures of design concept goals for your bathroom. I love that we had a lot of say on our design of our bathroom concept, and not being ran over by only designers' selections. Our master bathroom was a complete gut job. We removed all the builder grade tile shower, shower plastic pan, soaking Roman tub, toilet, vanity, large flat mirror, recessed in medicine cabinets and floor tiles. We did have some water damage from previous aged shower pan; so be open that some unexpected expenses will occur with things that is underling below the old tiles. CDT uses Schluter System Kerdi waterproofing material as the shower membrane; we are very confident in their choice of material and detailed work to our new shower. The duration of our remodel was about 6 weeks, with no work on weekends (which we liked that they don't work on weekends) and rotations due to other project(s). The CDT team of tile guy, electricians, plumbers and painters were supervised by project manager Jack, are highly skilled and respectful to our property. They placed floor covering as their walkway from main entrance to bathroom to protect our flooring. The team scheduled to work on a task that day arrived around 8-9am and leave about 2:30-3:30pm. On almost every day, we got an email from Jack with respect to a check list on task(s) that was performed that day; and the expected task(s) to be done on the following day. Jack is very reliable, and totally on top on daily communication with us. Jack and Mike are always responsive to my emails throughout the project. So easy to communicate with them. They are true professionals, with quality of service is totally top notch! I cannot say more than enough of our new completed master bathroom. We got a beautiful shower glass door, tiled shower floor, new plumbing shower system, free standing soaking tub, stunning porcelain slate tile flooring, custom vanity with quartz countertop, toilet, new arranged recess lighting, exhaust fan..etc. We absolutely love Custom Design Tile, so much that we are already planning with Mike on the next project, our guest full bathroom which will beginning hopefully by late autumn."

"Pascal is amazing!! He previously refinished our wooden kitchen table and did a masterful job. Based on that superior work we hired him again for the kitchen cabinet job. He removed the kitchen cabinet above the refrigerator and put toe kicks on as well as a beautiful new top and sides. It now stands as a beautiful cabinet on the floor. He built a new smaller cabinet that is now above the refrigerator. As a result, we now have a fully functioning refrigerator as well as a cabinet with doors that open fully so that we can use them. The floor cabinet was not usable when it was above the refrigerator because it could not open due to the hinge on the top left. We give Pascal the highest recommendation!!"

"We had a wonderful experience with VK&B. Very professional -- Leon and Bo were very helpful in the design phase. The subcontractor who built the kitchen was thorough and detailed. He adjusted the ceiling curvature with drywall just so that the molding above the cabinets would be flush against the ceiling. He spent hours aligning the cabinets doors and all fixtures. He even worked on Saturdays and Sundays to finish up the work within the promised timeframe. It was definitely worth the price."
