"Chandlers did a great job. They quoted the repair and got to work. We also added the replacement of the sewer line as the main water line was being replaced. Chandlers added two sewer cleanouts in the front for future access to the sewer and provide a convenient place to empty my RV black tank. I was very pleased with the rapid repair and accommodating the additional work. They made what could have been an ordeal but got it done in 4 days total. I would definitely recommend Chandlers again if the need arises for any other plumbing concerns"

Victoria's manager, Glenn, is very nice and patient. He provides guidance to Victoria's team to diagnose our sewer lines, provide recommendations and detail estimation options to us. We feel comfortable working with Glenn and Victoria during this job, and I have learned a lot regarding proper sewer lines and water lines connections. Victoria also took me into our crawl space and showed me the new sewer line at the last phase of the job. Victoria and her team are really professional and they've provided excellent customer service experience! For all the jobs they have completed, Victoria will provide photos and let us know what the current status of the job each day. Victoria is very considerate and she makes sure that we are able to use kitchen and bathroom at the end of the day (They will temporary connect the lines), and we really appreciate that! They also make sure the working areas are cleaned and covered up properly each day (if there is a wall opened) since there are rodents from our neighbors’ backyard. Mike Counsil Plumbing and Victoria’s team is knowledgeable with the city laws, proper line connections, and permit requirement. I was surprised to see a plumbing company that has their own work inspector (In this case, Dan B., was the one who came to my house for the final inspection. Thank you Dan!) to make sure all the works are according to code and it was done correctly. The works that were done at my house require city permits. Victoria makes sure we feel comfortable with the city inspection and she was present at the inspection. The company representatives such as Sabrina and Marissa are very friendly and easy to talk to. Comparing to other plumbing company, their price may not be the cheapest, but I can really see the quality in their work (compare to another plumbing company we hired years ago…). "Can not imagine a better response, starting with my call for assistance, response time and how the technician, Tad methodically diagnosed the problem. We have an obscure kitchen fixture that required service in Feb 2019. Under warranty the problem was easily diagnosed by me, a problem possibly caused by me and a replacement part sent and installed by Albert Nahman team. Problem: I broke the faucet cartridge. Current Problem: restricted hot water flow in this kitchen sink only. Turns out the new cartridge part is now malfunctioning. I called and Tad arrived taking a step by step approach ruling out possible causes: a clog here or there, build up of sediment, or blockage in the lines or cartridge. The company that sells the product got on the phone with Tad and they collaborated on the problem and the tech person gave Tad one more thing to try. After the collaboration it is agreed, problem persisted and therefore that new cartridge part is now malfunctioning and will be shipped free of charge in two days. Thanks to all, who made this possible and I trust we will have Tad here again soon to finalize this fix. BTW, cost of service was less than expected given going rates for such a call lasting in excess of one hour. Another comment, spending time with Tad during the repair was a pleasure to have him explain, collaborate, listen and just chat. Questions on who to call next time, no question who I will call next time. I have read criticism of costs: In the Berkeley area "How much does it cost to hire a plumber? Some plumbers have a minimum fee for a service call. They might charge anywhere from $175-250 to come out and give you a consultation. Plumbers may give you a general service rate of $128-148 per hour when there are a lot of unknowns about a project and they aren't sure how long it will take. Some charge a flat rate for their plumbing services. For example, you may get charged $175 for a sink or drain cleaning, while toilet installation costs $500." Today costs are upfront, same as charges in Feb, $69 to arrive and assess the problem. Here in excess of one hour for $129 minus $25 coupon, total charge $173. I am ok and I expected these costs. If I was in Philly, where I grew up, I could call an uncle or cousin and get a better rate, a family rate. This is going rate for our area."

"Leo did a very extensive plumbing repair that required digging through my bathroom floor and replacing a huge pipe to the outside. He also prepared and installed piping and fixtures for a bathroom remodel. Always showed up when he said he would and had a great crew. Cleaned up as well. Would highly recommend."

"Had a cracked undermount bathroom sink that needed replacement, which isn't really something either contractors or plumbers typically deal with. Luckily (and surprisingly) Mike Counsil Plumbing listed this service on their website, and they confirmed this over the phone. Called on a Mon. morning...very polite and helpful, scheduled earliest available appt. Wed. morning. Arrived within stated appt. window, and provided work estimate; separate pro came shortly thereafter to start actual work. Proved to be a difficult job to carefully remove old sink without damaging granite or wood countertops, but the pro did a great job. Although we furnished the replacement sink, the pro had to take a trip to the local hardware store to get additional undersink mounts - something we didn't anticipate. Once installed, it became clear that the new sink basin drain was closer to the back wall; so, to salvage the existing pipe, he took an additional trip to the hardware store to get an uncommon short pipe adapter, which he didn't stock on his van. Still ended up having to cut the pipe stub down to fit the drain and P-trap, but we appreciated the willingness to solve the problem - solve all of the problems that popped up, as everyones setup is slightly different. So, the pro ended taking several hours to get it all done, and the labor charge as you might imagine was costly...but fair. But the end result was a new, leak-free bathroom sink, as if nothing had ever happened. And, as a busy person who values their time, it was well worth it. I never noticed their green vans around town before, but I do now - Mike Counsil Plumbing services are clearly in demand, and it's obvious why."

"I had a main waterline (meter to house) break. Angel F. came out on a Thursday afternoon (same day I contacted him) and did the fix on the following morning. We replaced PVC with copper. This was a very interesting experience as I expected the front yard to be dug up. Not so: Fito had the equipment necessary to 'pull' the existing PVC while replacing it with the copper line in one relatively fast process. I don't know if Fito has the best pricing, but more important to us is that we received superior service as well as a superior product and installation. Peace of mind and knowing a job as important as this far outweigh getting multiple bids and finding the cheapest contractor. You do get what you pay for."
