"This is a difficult one to write because, in the end, I think the actual work done was completed very well and professionally. We had a tankless water heater installed to replace our aging tank. The problem i have is with their business practices and lack of effective/accurate communication. A two-day job stretched to a week+ due to workers leaving early every day for one reason or another. Admittedly, one of the days was understandable due to a family emergency and I absolutely cannot begrudge somebody leaving early to attend to their child. That’s just being a good dad. The job completed on a Friday and I was repeatedly assured that an county inspector & Pure Plumbing employee would be arrive early Tuesday (Monday was Memorial Day) to close the job. Nobody ever showed up and I was told nothing. I came to learn that Pure Plumbing plays some shady games when it comes to permitting a project. They (illegally) do the work without pulling permits. Then, after it is done, they submit drawings of the completed work to get an after-the-fact permit pulled. It’s only then that they request an inspection which happens a couple weeks after the fact. They also expect full payment before the work passes inspection. I tried to contact the owner of the company (Andrew Aranda) via phone and the email his office supplied in order to discuss/resolve the issue, but never heard a reply. Unpermitted work exposes the company and the homeowner to potential fines and long delays in completion. Even though I love the work they did and would love to use them again, I would hesitate because of legally questionable methods that cast a shady layer over the operation. Are there other hidden corners being cut? Their talented roster of tradesmen/women isn’t worth doing business with because legal games are being played with the county. I plan on contacting a Clark County agent to discuss this job and warn them of potential future dishonesty."

Armando arranged the financing and set up the delivery of the new system the next day. Install crew showed up on time. Tina, Bob and Angelica were courteous professional and got right to work. It was a big job but they completed it in about 6 hours. They did several things outside the scope of the job that were needed...always explained why.... Overall a fantastic experience. "Whatever you DO contact this incredible company if you live in Las Vegas. NV and have an air conditioner in your home! I joined a local company "group" that I pay a monthly "fee" to help maintain my heating and cooling. Sadly it is NOT this EXCELLENT company! My situation was the following I was advised by several friends NOT to contact our local power company to have the "FREE" thermostats installed in my recent home purchase as they were cheap and not "smart home" equipment and were poorly rated by many. I therefore purchased the HIGHEST rated "SMART" thermostats which are the ecobee 4. After I purchased the two new thermostats I was so frustrated because the company I made the mistake of joining to help me maintain my homes heating and cooling wanted to CHARGE me a ridiculous service charge to come install my new thermostats! PLUS I had to pay ANOTHER ridiculous separate charge for each one to be installed!?! I was referred to Home Advisor to find a company to install my new high tech thermostats and was contacted by several, and The Cooling Company was the company I selected and was certainly happy with my decision! From the initial contact to the finish of my installation I was amazed at the professional and honest pricing and knowledgeable staff and technicians I had the opportunity to have service my home! I will ALWAYS recommend this wonderful professional and honest company to ANYONE needing heating and cooling services. "I paid for a Lennox system but received a Goodman system. When I called the sales rep he told me they were out of Lennox, but the Goodman was just as good. When I asked about the price difference, he told me they both cost the same. He called his warehouse while the service contract was being written up and he said the Lennox was in stock. I fill that he should have given me a quote on the Goodman, before it being installed. The system installed seems to be doing it s job. I fill he should have contacted me about the brand change before installation. I also asked him to change my service contract and he told me that we didn t need to, the office has the records if anything goes wrong. The young man who did the installation was great, I have no issues with him."

"They came out the same day I called. My system was over 20 years old and needed to be replaced. The install was scheduled for the next morning and completed by that afternoon. The techs were knowledgeable, friendly and did a nice job explaining options. They were careful during the install And did not leave any mess. There was some minor damage in the closet attic drywall, but repairs were scheduled.. Spending money on a new HVAC system is not fun, but these guys did a great job and I had an overall positive experience."
