"This was a tough period due to cold weather conditions but they stayed on top pof ther situation and worked when ever conditions allowed. A lot of prep work was needed due to the poor condition of the wood. (This house was built in 1929). In the end, Joe and his entire family worked long hours in order to take advantage of a short window of good weather. At one point he dismantled the entire roof over the front porch in order to get at a section of wood that was otherwise inaccessable.
