"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Hired Aquabear services to handle some simple projects around our house. Expected a professional manner ,but found myself having to initiate calls to them due to no shows for them to say it was due to someone being sick. I understand sickness, but it would be nice to RECEIVE the call from them. I was told they would arrive first thing in the morning and no one would show until after noon... multiple times. Lastly, we now have an unfinished patch on our house because no one ever came back to finish. I’’ve learned my lesson on paying in advance since the services requested were not fully completed; even after contacting Dave . Pool services may be the better quality service of this company, but for anything else, you have to have time and money to spare. Very disappointed. Very Good people, not so good professionalism."

"Ed provided exceptional service at a great price. He was easy to work with and my wife loved dealing with him as well. I have to share that the very first project I asked Ed to bid was a complete deck rebuild without sharing I may have any future business for him at all. He drew up the bid for the rebuild but he could sense it wasn't a huge priority and all we really were trying to do was fix some stair structure issues and paint the deck. Ed also came with that bid and was the one that suggested it and ultimately convinced is it was the right thing for us. This meant a fraction of the opportunity for Ed but he felt it was the right thing and we were so thankful. "My siding project was started late in the year. I was concerned about the crew getting caught in the cold weather but they were well prepared and every morning they were ready to go. The crew jumped right into the tasks with little guidance and stayed busy all day. They talked and joked frequently but that seemed to keep their mood and energy up. There were few problems except for some cold mornings and frost that could affect ladder work.  Also included was new Sherwin Williams 20 year paint  on the wood trim  and 3 kitchen windows were installed. I noticed a remarkable increase in comfort inside this past very cold winter after the house was wrapped with HardieWrap and the new siding. The job finished more or less on time and looks great."
