"Golden Hammer did an amazing job on our very 80s kitchen! They did a complete gut job, replaced walls, painted, installed new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash. Drew and Shawn are extremely professional, transparent, and responsive. Julio and Steven were also great and professional. We felt safe and comfortable having them in our home. Although they were not the cheapest option, they were very clear on pricing. No items from vendors or subs were marked up - instead, the quote has a line that shows their profit. This was really helpful as we could get a clear handle on costs. They also contract with a real artist for tilework. We had a different pattern for our backsplash that involved "random" placement of certain tiles. Robert took extra care to ensure he understood the pattern, and the result is stunning. The only con is that our main lead was let go from the company towards the end of our job. This meant that some final touches were dragged out a bit longer than we felt they should have been. However, this was minor and handled with us in a professional way. We would happily work with Golden Hammer again!"

He actually built my former home, then renovated and improved the property many times over the course of my residence there. He is a craftsman and gets very involved with his projects. He is on site most days himself and is consistently available to confer with me when needed. Followed then by Jeff Beback the representative who explained each step of the process to renovate our 30 year old shower. Demolition and then reconstruction with a beautiful acrylic shower was seamless with the work crew Scott and Brandon. They went out of their way to find and order (on a holiday weekend when other RV repair companies said they were closed) a new converter for my RV that was blown out when the power went out in our area and I found out I did not have a good surge protector. They helped me with replacing a much better surge protector as well. I have also hired them for additional work to be done with re-sealing my RV roof and 3 slide-outs and to wash/wax my RV. "When 3 other companies looked at my AC unit they told me it needs to be replaced. The cost of repairing it would be just about the same because my unit uses R22 freon AC tech's refer to it as liquid gold. Mike came out and said it's getting close to needing replacement but not today with a simple fix. I asked about the R22 cost and he explained it to me that some companies just take advantage of it to sell you a new system. Mike repaired my AC for $3000.00 dollars less then my other lowest quote. Why use Mike Harper AC: Mike is not an hourly employee he is the owner he does the inspection and the work. When he doesn't do the work he goes around and checks what his employees did to make sure what they did meets his standards. In my opinion finding Mike Harper AC was like finding a needle in a hay stack."
