"Bob and his crew did a great job framing the barn. They were able to adapt to the county and local inspections and made sure the site was clean afterwards. He was in contact with me and the subcontractors daily and the project was completed in a timely manner considering the large amount of work that was done. The crew was friendly and cooperative."

"We are very pleased with how our bathroom turned out. We enlarged the master bath into an adjacent bedroom. Now we have a cabinet with drawers, the same size shower as before, and a partially re-arranged floor plan. Gary scheduled the other contractors needed to complete the job: plumbing, electrical, tile, granite work, and paint. The job took longer and cost more than originally planned (these things generally do). We had the work done 2 years ago and are still very pleased with the work."

"Very satisfied with the end result of our project. The workers were very polite and respectful of my home. We had a 500 Square Foot Living Room Added, bathroom remodeled, new kitchen, new flooring and tons outside including windows, door, siding and roof. It was a lot, thankfully Jamie the owner was there for us the entire way. More than happy to share this review for the next person who uses this companies service."

"After dealing with a lot of obstacles ( none brought on by the builder) we have a beautiful home. Clark Builders have been patient through the entire process and the home is very high quality. We made changes from the original layout and they were very accommodating and gave us exactly what we asked for. We are very happy with Clark Builders."

"We love our new basement from Apex! The guys were very polite every day and made sure the house was clean and orderly. The attention to detail was spectacular. We are still blown away every time we walk downstairs. We would hire Apex again in a flash."

"It was great working with John McCarter construction. I got their number after talking to my neighbor. I called them and they got back to be immediately to give me a ball park price and detail explanation on how they will bill me. Of course until they come and see exactly what's needed to be done will they have the exact price but they gave me all detail just so I know the labor and part cost needed. And how they bill about the hours of service. But gave me an idea how long it would take. So I would be comfortable with the price. After I agreed they got back to me to schedule a date and within few days everything was done. What I really liked; They said they will call me within couple days to schedule. And they did exactly that. when they called we scheduled a day and they said they will call again the day before. Again they did exactly what they said. The day before work they called to remind me and give me a window. I don't need to be there but their guy will be there to do the work will call me on that day before he comes. Again the guy calls me and let's me know he is on his way, since this work is outside I don't need to be there. He comes does his work and I come home everything looks good. I get the bill couple days later. It was so simple and clean and precise. I can't believe they did everything like they said... Is so hard to find any contractor to do what they tell you. I have met few luckily and I have met many that was very frustrating and I'm sure many people who reads review knows exactly what I'm talking about. Bottom line price was very fair. They did exactly what they told me. No surprises, very up front about the possibility cost. And they delivered what they told me. There communication is just amazing. You can bet I will be using them for all future work that I needed and they offer."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Highland, MI

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
