"Carpathian Woodworks is Paul McDonald's business and he runs it in a very professional manner. I requested a quote and within an hour he responded by asking me for photographs and a description of the work. Paul gave me a preliminary quote on the phone and set up an on site appointment. Paul arrived on time and he, my interior decorator and I discussed what I wanted. He has a great design instinct and suggested several enhancements that really improved on our initial vision. Paul gave me a quote before leaving, and then suggested adding laser cut doors for the cabinets used to hold the receiver, DVD player and other equipment. How much, I asked and Paul said no additional cost. He just thought the doors would really upscale the design (he was right). I accepted the quote and Paul gave me an install date. Paul called me before the install date to confirm he would arrive at 8:00. He arrived at 7:45 on the date and the installation was completed on the same day. This is amazing given the cabinets take up almost two full walls and a corner entertainment center! The work was perfect, the job site was spotless and the cost came on on target. Recently I was discussing this with a friend. We agreed that a dream contractor is one arrives on time for appointments, gives an accurate scope and estimate of the work, delivers on time, and keeps within the budget.
