"Coast to Coast did an excellent job on tuck pointing the office portion of our office building. The building is approx. 30 years old. The office section of our building (approx. 7K sq. ft.) had water damage to the inside walls due to the bricks and mortar etc. on the outside of the building deteriorating due to rain and snow over the years. Romen came out to our office and spent a lot of time showing us what the problems were and recommending how he would make the repairs. After getting other estimates from other companies, we decided to use Coast to Coast. Work that was done on all three sides of our office building: removed all loose and cracked mortar joints/bricks without damaging the edges of the abutting masonry. Used commercial vacuums during the grinding operation so very little dust/debris was in the air. After cleaning and flushing with water and compressed air, any joints which were cut out were than filled with a special tuck pointing mortar. They grinded out the rust between the rusting I-Beams at the front of our building and sealed them to prevent further rusting. Waterproofed all brick and mortar work to prevent future water from coming inside. To be honest, there was even more work that was done ~ all by hand. This project took about a week. It's now been almost a year, and we have had no problems with water seeping in to the building. The work on the outside of the building (mortar/bricks etc.) matches the original construction, (which is nice)."

"Jan and his team were awesome! We live in a three flat that's about 10 years old and the building has had leaking almost since it was built. We went through two new roofs and were still experiencing leaking in the top unit. We reached out to a couple exterior repair companies and decided to use General Masonry for some tuckpointing and to replace the weepholes that were painted over at some point. Jan and his team were busy when we reached out so they started work on the weekend because they knew the leaking was damaging the interior of our units. They were so professional and you could tell they really knew what they were doing. They also seemed to be priced very reasonably for the extent of work they did on the building. "One word can describe Roger, his crew, and their work -AWESOME!!!   From start to finish Roger and his team where very <br /> accommodating even when hiccups occurred.   After the deck was torn off, we discovered there was a lot of wood rot that would need to be repaired before the steps were completed.  Roger and his team completed as much of the patio and steps as they could, then once the wood was repaired six days laterby a handyman they came back to finish the job and put flashing to make sure it wouldn?t happen again.  Roger and his team are extremely conscious about the work being done as well as making sure the customer is happy.  An hour after they finished (and most of the next week) there was a lot of heavy rain and some of the locking sand did not completely dry and was washed away between the pavers on the steps.  I called Roger and asked for some sand to put into the gaps on the steps, they came out and reapplied a new layer on top of the whole patio as well as filled in all the gaps on the steps.  The sand is now dry, locked and looks great.  Everyone was very nice and very hard working, at the end of each day everything was cleaned up and hauled away.  They went above and beyond what was in the contract - installing a underground drain pipe leading about 30 feet away from downspout that was draining under the deck, Installing new sod and mulch around the patio...even providing mulch to cover existing beds to hide the dust created from cutting the pavers.   Very happy with the results, they went above and beyond for the price we paid.  Will definitely have roger and his crew out to do some other projects this fall or next spring <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Our brick garage was in serious need of rebuilding on the south wall. Hynek Construction did a fantastic job of dismantling the corner and middle pillars and replacing 5 brick courses below along with some tuckpointing. Installed 9 pieces of new limestone copings as well. The crew was second to none working expertly, and tirelessly in 90+ degree heat. The garage looks great and will stand the test of time! Clean up was also done with care. I highly recommend Hynek Construction if you are in need of brick/mason work and want it done expertly."
