"Carlos Garcia's Hometown Floor Covering. LLC laid 755 sq ft of 3/4" solid wood floor in my house in Oct 2022. It has buckled at the walls, and throughout the house the planks are uneven and raised. I have attempted to connect Carlos by phone, email and on Facebook, but he has blocked me. I had 2 floor installers over to make repairs, and both told me the whole floor needs to be replaced. The flooring supplier who assigned Carlos Garcia to me no longer use him. As my discussion with them, they told Carlos he was to stay at the job site, and he didn't. It was obvious his men were untrained, and they couldn't speak English. I had to buy 3 more boxes of flooring because of improper cutting. When I wrote his check he wanted it in his personal name. Carlos Garcia has bad business practices. On his business web page, he "guarantees his work" and he implies he's not a 'shady contractor'! I warned Carlos Garcia, Hometown Floor Covering, LLC months I would send out bad reviews. "

"Showed up on time for the estimate. They explained exactly how the work would be done. I agreed to the price and we set a day for the work. They showed up on time. They were courteous and did the job they said they would do. The outcome was fantastic. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

They removed the old flooring and replaced it repaired any low spots and bad subfloor and we are very satisfied with the finished product. There were some challenges due to the previous installation of the old flooring by someone else and they had an answer for any problems they encountered. They were friendly, polite , professional and very knowledgeable in their trade ! They cleaned up everything and went the xtra mile to be mindful of my wife working from home during the job ! I would not hesitate to hire AC or recommend to anyone looking for great work at a fair price. 😁"

"This man hasn?t had a review since 2020 for a reason. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This man has great workers but is unprofessional himself. He?s added on additional cost for things we had already paid for & argued with us we didn?t even when his workers mentioned that we did indeed already paid for the material as well as labor. We paid for doors within the contract as the basement finish & he said we didn?t and that the finish was just muddying the drywall & we would have to pay for doors and labor to put them on. After we signed the contract with doors included and I paid $1260 for the finishing phase. He?s only on time to collect money & nothing else. He threatened to quit in the middle of the job after I had to argue that I paid for light fixtures and he refused to even consider that I did even when my wife as a witness stated we did. When he threatened to quit I said what about the rest of my material and what I paid and he stated well you got some of it. BAD FOR BUSINESS & WE HAVE PROOF! "
