Their workmanship is excellent and we are extremely pleased with the resulting changes. They also built a drainage and outflow system effectively eliminating a water runoff issue away from the house to the outer yard. They are pleasant individuals who make a dynamic duo with their skillset, experience, knowledge, and expertise. Russell’s experience in his craft is extensive and is reflected in the first cut of wood, the first screw placed, and the first nail pounded. He listens well, makes sound suggestions, and is amenable to design/build changes. His skillset has been honed through the years by sheer practical participation and encountering events in his trade. He has a “can do” attitude with a great motto that he lives by, “there are no problems, just solutions”. Among the many talents of Jose is one of being a tile setter. He is meticulous in measuring, thoughtful in design ensuring precision cuts with clean edges and straight lines, and he seeks your opinion along the process. "An inspection of our home brought to light that several of the pillars in our crawlspace had shifted & no longer touched the supporting floor joists. A freind referred me to Pure & Simple Resorations on Hilton Head. Mark Hammerle came out the next day, crawled under the house & within several hours presented me with a though evaluation of the problems encountered, the appropriate repairs , & permanent solutions to prevent any reoccurrances. His work was excellent , prices were fair, & the job was completed in a timely manner. Mark also repaired a damaged wood floor for me. His quote for the floor repair was 50% less then then anyone else & the floor looked like new. Mark is reliable, his prices are reasonable, & he is a man of his word. Based on my experiences I strongly recommend his company to anyone in need for home repair."

"They arrived for estimate as scheduled. Due to insurance issues the work needed to be done asap. An estimate was emailed that evening. We signed a contract the next day and work was scheduled for 2 weeks later. They arrived on the scheduled day and began working immediately. Once the sliding glass door had been removed they started to frame in for the window. Half way thru framing for the window, it began to rain. Despite the heaviest rain so far this year,they remained in the rain and completely water proofed the opening so we had no leakage at all inside the house. This was critical as the interior had wall to wall carpeting. The minute the rain stopped, they were right back at work. During the times they had to enter the house for interior work, the were very careful not to track any dirt in the house. They all removed their shoes and placed plastic over the carpet to avoid any mess inside. They completed installing the window and all interior work in 2 days. The siding had to be ordered so they went above and beyond to completely waterproof the exterior so there would be no problems until the siding arrived. They returned on Tuesday with the siding and it was installed to our complete satisfaction. During the entire time they worked on our home, the entire team was courteous, polite and completely professional. I would use this company again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone who needed carpentry work done."
