"Beyond four walls was originally hired to re-do my floors, which turned into gutting our house, reimagining the floor plan, remodeling two bathrooms, the kitchen and additional upgrades. The upgrades consisted of paint, insulation, a tankless hot water heater, pex water pipping, electrical outlets, lighting and the fuse box. We did so much I’m sure I’m missing things. Courtney and his family did all the work and we would hire them to do it again!"

"We are amazed at the outcome of this project!  We had several quotes for finishing our lower level and Paul's quote and vision for the job best aligned with ours.  We appreciated the way that Paul itemized the quote, which we didn't receive from any of the other quotes.  The quality of the work looks like it would have cost double of what was quoted.
Paul and his crew were wonderful and very easy to work with from day one.  They showed up on time and usually stayed late.  They cleaned up at the end of each day.  Paul and his crew were polite and seemed to enjoy the work they were doing.  You can tell that they have a passion and pride in what they do. 
The job took one week to complete.  Within that time, they were also able to install laminate flooring and paint a walk-in closet and stain and install a shelf that we added at the start of the project.  They took on this extra request without hesitation and made it seamless.  We requested a custom built-in bookcase and Paul took on this work himself including the design.  The outcome far exceeded our expectations.

"From the calls that I had been making to try to find someone to do the project, we were told that we would need an architect to do the drawings and submit the drawings to the city to get a permit. When I called Ideal Build, Peter was very responsive and we set an appointment during that call. He was on time for the appointment and was very professional and friendly. The main thing that I liked about him was that he was the only one that came that actually went up on the roof to see what we were dealing with, gave us good suggestions for what would have to be done and how to handle the chimney. He also gave us a good suggestion that if we decided to remove the chimney that we can have the venting changed to the side of the house and change our water heater to one of the tankless models. Overall the experience with Peter was great. We did not end up using him for the project because we were on a really tight budget. My mother had spent so much replacing roof after roof that there was really not a lot of equity left in the property to refinance, not to mention the market taking a dive with the home prices. Anyway, Peter gave us a quote for $4k to $6k dollars, that included drawings & permits. We would have to get a second quote from the contractor he worked with. Most of the people that we ended up getting quotes from were quoting us around $30k or more for the project. My thought process was that if we did a tear down and full roof replacements before for around $10k, why in the world would adding some joist to the project double the price for the project? We did go with another contractor that the price was way more reasonable and we are happy with the work. I would use Idea Build if you are planning on doing a large scale project, where the cost is a little more justifiable."

"I got a response from Fil very quickly, we discussed the project and set up a date for an estimate; after few contractors coming by, we decided to go with Thor Build and I'm glad we did. Fil was professional and explained entire process in detail an told me when everything will be done.
Fil gave us a choice to just pay for labor or everything inclusive. We decided to buy our own materials as my wife can be very picky and we wanted to control costs as well.
The guys working on our project were very neat throughout the project and cleaned the work area every night. Fil was intently overseeing the whole process and made sure were were happy throughout.
Long story short, our bathroom and kitchen look great, everything went smoothly and we are satisfied with the quality of work and craftsmanship. We recommended the company to our friends who are finishing their basement. Josh and Rebeca bought us a dinner for the recommendation!
