"Steve just completed a few projects for us, removed a kitchen ceiling light, replacing it with recessed LED lighting, added pendant lights, rerouted conduit so taller cabinets can be installed, added a new switch controlled outlet, replaced hard wired smoke detectors that were original to the house, did some repairs to other outlets and just today updated our microwave to be on a 20 AMP circuit from a 15 AMP, something we had not even considered. "I'm glad we hired A and Z. Barry Goldstein gave us a call and come to our residence to look at the work needed. Barry is a great and sincere person and we enjoy the small talk but got to business. We were in need of GFCI electric switches in the kitchen, bathroom, and other areas. Plus, we need new electrical outlets in our closets in both bedrooms and have the pulley taken out, and ad a fixture on the outside of the closet. We also had a hazard with the powerline where the clamps that are attached to the outside wall of the house were hanging out. Plus the kitchen exhaust fan and the ceiling fan needed to be installed and they did. The crew explained what is expected in the process and the price. They placed it back to her tight in order for us to get COMED to fix the wiring. They came and fixed the job and did it cleanly and professionally. Bart came to my house to take a look at and quote the project the same day I called. Prior to the date of the project, I took the initiative to remove the outlets/ switch and place wire nuts on the wires. Bart was appreciative that I had semi-prepped the project. I also had the new outlets and cover plates readily available. On the day of the project, Bart and his assistant arrived on time and professionally prepped the work area to prevent damaging the floor and easing clean-up.
